You see, that's all part of my ruse. Unsuspecting honda drivers look at Blimey and assume he's a piece o' crap, because, after all, aren't all British cars? Little do they know he's a rabid, wurst-eating killer Dachshund underneath...

Now, git outta here and stop messing with my British fetish.
If British cars are 'all a piece of crap' why do people want them so badly (especially the older cars)?
I'm British (obviously, that is why right now my back is touching the ceiling) and I DON'T agree with the statement that ALL British cars are crap.

Hey - I started all this foolishness. At least in THIS thread.

British? Hell yes.

But it's got one of these under the skin:

And this is what they look like when they're PLAYING.

And now, back to the topic....

Sorry - no good sarcasm smilies. I'm not British. But I grew up on Python.

I loved my old British car.

And yes people LOVE them.

And yes, some even had engineering genius inside (like the classic Minis).

But there's a reason that most of these cars in the old days were considered "project" cars...

Until you've owned a car that you had to fill up with smoke every couple of weeks to keep it running, you haven't lived.

Oh yeah, and most of that whole thing was a jab at my buddy abuzavi - he and I have a running Germish / Britman fight going on. He just happened to stumble drunk through this pub/thread and I had to get a couple of punches in. Sorry. No intention to offend anyone or any sensibilities...

Now back to the topic...

I think we got off topic ... and I over-reacted to what I perceived as a jab at us Brit's ... sometimes I get a little defensive !
My back is now off the ceiling and in 'relax' mode !

So... have you ordered your UJ mats yet?

Sorry to go OT for a sec...

The San Juans are one of the more beautiful places ANYWHERE, IMHO. Nope, we're from North Carolina, but we vacationed in Washington a couple of years ago. I sculpt, and one of the best sculptors in my medium (kinetic wind sculptures) lives on Orcas Island. So we took a couple of extra days and went out there. I had no idea what it was going to be like. We had perfect blue skies that week, and you could see Mt. Ranier from the top of Mt. Constitution. I was ready to pack the truck and move out there...

Taken with my little snapshot camera. The white thing on the horizon is Mt. Ranier - about 110 miles away...

I can finally post in this thread!!!

Here are Gromit's headrest decals:

Yes, I know, not the best picture(darn shadow!). I had the decals over a month and this is the first time I was able to get a picture. I hope to have better ones in a day or two.

Thanks!

Aesthteic Creations does awesome work. My original idea was a little different, but Mike took it and made some changes and I think they came out better with his recommendations.

I have some new stuff - but I'm saving it for the Dragon this weekend. I'll post pics next week! And I'll take photos of other great UJ stuff that I see and post them, too!
