Got mine replaced under warranty, seems like it was more durable to last that long. The aftermarket ones we sell are made by the same manufacturer for newer Genuine MINI.
Installed the Höen Endurance yellow fogs today. Much better light quality than the Nokya Hyper Yellows that lasted all of one week. Next up are the Höen City Lights, license plate lights, and sidemarker lights.
Where are you located Steffen? Maybe someone can recommend a local shop.

Have you started looking into getting a Toyota? Those Tacomas are like the Black Lab of the automotive world, very healthy and mostly problem free.

Understood. Sounds like you are kind of in that position then... Rock and a hard place, eh?

Yea pretty much. I texted a friend here with a JCW and we are going to try and set something up. In the mean time I will get the FSDs and do it all at once. Just hope the front end doesn't fall apart in the next few months

I'm selling mine in Fed or Mar of 2016. If I was in your shoes with no place to work on a car I'd buy something other than a euro car. There's no point in living life wondering what's next, this is why on the second day Jesus created the Toyota Tacoma

Just recently installed all the suspension and brake pieces in my signature, and then did the black Alcantara overhead liner and pillars last weekend. Cravenspeed short shift kit showed up this past Friday so putting that in next.

Got a call/text from a friend saying he is going to help me drop the subframe this weekend and tackle the CAB, Power Steering Lines, Ball Joints, Lower Engine mount, CAM Sensor, and PS Flush. Couldn't be more happier sine I got that recent quote of $1600!!
I just transferred my SiriusXM service from a portable unit to the Mini......for the past month, I have used the portable attached to the windshield with a bunch of loose wires dangling around. Now, all that will be removed so I can use the Sat radio built into the Mini.......On my 30 mile, one hour daily commute, I generally listen to the PGA Tour Radio on 92 XM now 208 Sirius.......
