I know what I'm going to do to mine today. Get it washed. I got home last night from an 800 or so mile weekend trip to Nashville. He needs a cleaning.

I'm jealous! Waiting one more day for the roads to dry out. I hate washing and then have to go over left over rain running over the road! Wash on!

So just a 1L can or the 5L ? I talked to Justin at ecs chat last night and he told me to get 3L?? That seems like a lot. What is the capacity of the system itself ?

1 L, just under that for fill, if you get the larger amount and say do another MINI ( for a club member or friend ) or flush down to raid you will have it. I have a couple of those at home on shelf.

Went to work today for my co worker to say "sorry about your car". He borrowed it to get home after we drove to pick up a camaro. On the way to work some dude rolled into the back and crushed my rear turn signal light on the bumper (aero bumper). Trying to figure out if the aero uses stock lights or not now... i called the guy who ran into it and told him to bring me 150$ for the damage and i wouldn't call insurance and police. It was barely noticeable aside from the cracked light.

Anyway, does anyone know if the aero bumpers and the stock bumpers use the same rear blinker? 03 mini S hatch

Off to dealer

Going in for the passenger seat air bag sensor recall and to piggy-back on this R/R, I scheduled the work on the day the Mini Rep will be there to look at this bit of rust perforation to be included in the 12yr/unlimited miles rust warranty. Wish me luck

You're talking about the light that's in the center of the bumper? The clear is 63221477678 the back up light. The red lens 63247166015 is the rear fog light.

Let us know how it goes, had mine done also on the rust spots, so much better.

Have them check above the trunk lid grip and behind it. Also check the inside door sills and the bottom of the door seam on the door itself.

Replaced the thermostat. She's purring like a kitten again. I can't believe how convoluted that R56 thermostat is!

Just programmed my alarm that i pieced together.. finally got the siren/tilt sensor yesterday and installed. programmed it to work. Already had the light stalk with the red indicator btw anyone looking for a visual deterrent this will do; mine worked when I installed it with no programming as it came pre-programmed to work. Also programmed the doors to unlock at engine off so no more double pull to exit.

Next programming up:

Key fob windows/sunroof close
hazard double blink

Key fob close windows and sun roof
