Returned my Clubman to the Jaguar dealer this week(drove a Jag XJL overnight) so they could get the final items done, like replace the low pressure indicator module....So while they had my car, they decided to paint my brake calipers black. They look nice, but I do not understand why they did them without my consent. I guess they were bared and needed something to do.

Over the weekend, I transferred my XM radio to the Mini Sirius. Reception and sound is so much better now, and i don't have to deal with loose wires running over my dash.

Thanks ECSTuning, The Jaguar dealer, where i purchased the Clubman< painted the calipers after they got the car back from the Mini dealer who changed out the low pressure indicatr module.

I guess they had some time on their hands and some extra paint. Seems like they had to remove the wheels to paint the calipers so they had a lot of time????

welcome.

I guess they had time. Or they scratched one and wanted to fix and all match.

Not today, but on Monday, I traded my 2010 S for a 2016 C7 Z51 Corvette...

It's very different. Lol

Picked up the driver side wheel carrier from the junk yard, and the hub puller from autozone. Jacking it up and replacing the wheel carrier that we broke a bolt in last week. Pray to the MINI gods this one goes well. Any suggestions?

Had a fever. Took my Clubman out for a short drive. In my weakened state, gave it some curb rash. Big, unsightly gash on Black Rims.
Ugh.

Installed new plugs, some Way Motor Works wires, and a Screamin' Demon coil pack. Car was starting to feel a bit rough on startup idle wise, and since I just purchased it used with close to 93k on it I figured I'd feel more comfortable knowing it had brand new plugs and wires. Definitely feels noticeably smoother at idle.

Did the same with mine a while back. Does yours close with pushing/holding the fob button, or do you have to hit it repeatedly for sunroof/windows to close?

We have some pretty unique cars in this group. Lifted straight piped Countryman, my crazy wide stanced R53, even a classic joined as well.

Cool Pics! Always fun to meet up with other MINIs and minis.

Today I installed the new drivers side wheel carrier, finished my front end suspension refresh. (Installed all new ball joints, Powerflex CAB, Fixed PS Lines, and Both Engine Mounts) Car is taking corners like a beast again. The steering feels so tight and responsive. SWEET!

Next things on the list is strut mounts - thinking about the IE fixed plates and Koni FSDs anyone know the best feeling suspension set up for the r53?? Thanks!

Pulled the rear seat back, going to investigate the possibility of building my own floor delete kit rather than paying the $180 for a retail version.

Just did this myself about a month ago. It's very easy, and takes very little time. I think I spent about $20 total in parts(the wood, carpet, and glue).
