Rock On !!!! I loved your car and BSing with you and the wife! I agree, I think there should be a Gen 1 and Gen 2 class, because in my opinion your car was WAY better than mine (even without 2 seperate classes). Funny things happen I guess, but your car was head and shoulders beyond mine...one hell of an impressive ride in my book.

Got my car back from the dealership yesterday. I have to stay, the stripes look even better than I had imagined.

Oh yes, rock krawler/mud slinger and pavement pounder. I love them both! (When I'm not cursing and throwing wrenches after working on the truck)

Not exactly.. Planning on getting a tow hook license bracket... Chicago PD loves handing out tickets for not displaying the front LP. I live in the suburbs, so I'd like to keep the front LP off when I'm not in the city, haha. But we can make our own team anyways! MB-Red Rule Stripes Club!

Yeah it's highly illegal in Va too. But they can't pull you over for it. It's a second offense. So I just put the front liscences plate in the front window everytime I park

Replaced factory installed spark plugs with NGK Laser Platinums, NGK wire set, air filter, and did an oil change with filter and Mobil 1 0W-40.

Oh, and I replaced my cracked strut mount plate. That was a pain in the butt.

She runs beautifully now!

Took Domina to get her visors replaced. The covers for the mirrors were cracking off. And they even washed her- twice! She looks perfect. I hope a tree doesn't fall on her Sunday.

yeah, that scratch bums me out! its actually not as bad as the photo makes it appear, but I need to get it dealt with. There are a few actually from the previous owner. When I buy cars used, I'd rather see scratches than a repainted door etc. Least I know what Im dealin with! I keep wax in it till I can get the paint looked at. Thanx tho!

I just did mine this spring. I did both, and got IE's fixed camber plates instead of the stock replacement. *MUCH* better!

C ya,

Received a goodie via the US Mail (thanks, Rick!!)--an M7 16% pulley and a tensioner stop cable. Gonna sit on 'em for a bit, since I had an unexpected vet bill for my cat, but the new belt and plugs are at the top of my to-do list.

Also, picked up a good deal on a lightly-used set of springs. Gotta get 'em on the car and soak up that lower-ride-height goodness....

C ya,
Dutch

I cracked the strut mount and kept hearing a "Whoop, whoop, whoop" noise so I figured it was that, but now we still hear it so I am pretty sure its a bad strut bellow rubbing up against the strut and what not. This sucks

What I did with my Mini today? Trying to park it so a tree doesn't fall on it, during are hurricane tonight. I purposely did not change the oil or install my driving lights so I wouldn't jinx myself.
