Wasn't trying to make anyone jealous Tmini08. Believe me it wasn't an easy decision, but with enough debt needing to be paid off I thought lets see what I can do. So, paying off the Lowest $$ debt we had was my 1st goal, now to pay off the CC, then "SMAUG" my Husband's Soul (Kia Soul that is)!!

Here's something to be "jealous" about...Molly got a semi-detail last weekend and Today when I fueled her she got 33.9mpg!!

I understand about paying off debt, I have manged to payoff most of my debt. With a ltitle more overtime and careful spending I am hoping to have Zim paid off sooner than later.

33.9MPG is great. I filled Zim up two days ago and got 34.7mpg, that was first in a longgggg time.

The 33.9 was 1st ever for in town driving (m-f commute), she's gotten 33mpgs when we travel, with very spirited driving!!

Hi All! Had some quality time with my car today!
Full detail inside and out
Installed checkerboard rearview mirror cover
Installed Checkerboard lic. plate frame
Installed new exhaust tip (the beer can was pretty shabby)
Ran the wire from sprint booster thru dash and mounted button so I can see it!
Ran wire for ipod thru dash just to clean up the look. no more wires hangin around
Changed oil and filter- wow!! 1st time doin that on this car. directions were great from diy forum!! thanx for the tutorial. Went off without a hitch!!
Installed acheckerboard steering wheel insert that I ordered only to find that it was for the 2 spoke wheel, not the 3 spoke!! dummy! I found out that it fits perfectly in the hole where the factory fog lights would go in the front bumper. Looks cool, but now I need one for the other side!! lol
Got done all that, just in time for a down-pour
Sat in lounge chair and had a huge smile on my face because it was a great day, even with the rain!!! I love my car

I wish it wasn't raining cuz I planned to golf with Mini this weekend. It rains so frequently here recently that Mini gets dirty so terribly often...

Goodbye Chrome & Plasti-dip

This weekend I started to remove the Plasti-dip and paint the parts body color. More and better pics coming soon, but here's the gas cap.

I got it from Pelican Parts. Everything is OEM and fit quite nicely. The two wheel skirts came quickly, while the center piece had to come from Germany.

RJKimball, that's funny - my WIFE has a Kia Soul! In Ignition Orange... check www.kiasoulforums.com, or www.soulhamsters.com...

I bought some spacers for my R53 custom exhaust, it's 3/16"" off but otherwise snorty and wonderful. This weekend he gets to go to a car show, gets a detailing and an interior cleaning...

Got my AP today...installed it...and WOW. Unfortunately the clamp on the pipe connecting to the turbo gave way so I can't enjoy much more until tomorrow.

there's evidence of faded paint on the hood now in overcast lighting

Looks a little nekkid... ;-)

You DO know the difference between "Naked" and "nekkid", don't you?
Naked means no clothes on
Nekkid means no clothes on... with expectations!

I reinstalled my headlight eyebrows, actually a very functional accessory for the '05-06 Xenon headlights, as it cuts glare in fog and heavy snow. I'll shoot a pic later...

Google Image "FHM Mini Cooper" for a suggestive, er, umm, "suggestion"!
You've got a great rare color there.

As for the trim, you may want to experiment yourself with vinyl (or photoshop) to see what works before committing to paint. The quote in your sig definitely applies here!
