Me too. I think the Hula Bobble would be a great addition to any MINI. Where can I get one?

i've had my new 2011 cooper a fews weeks now and never before realised just how much I've always used the engine note for banging off my shift points.
The stock exhaust is just Sooo boringly quiet and homogenised..... so I finally had the resonator removed over the weekend.
Now that's more like it. Now there's just a touch of blatty rattiness and volume when I put my foot in it but it's not overtly loud or obnoxious.

Took her to MINI of Portland, now tonight she can't come Home!! She's on her 4th CEL for an O2 Sensor, they are opening up a PUMA Case to see what the problem might be.

WOW!! L@@KS awesome!! Question for you Ive's MINI, the Fog Light Surrounds...how do you keep those clean??
I have the lower chrome grill piece but decided against the Fog Light surrounds because I'm OCD!!
Am hoping to use some of my MINI Moola to get the Driving Lights for Molly's 4th Birthday (Apr. '12).

Thanks, the fog bezels were on the car when I bought it. They stay clean with no extra work. They were factory so they seem to be finished nicely. Here is a picture with the covers on.

Simply took a spirited drive before work. Nice to ride the ol' "rip and burble" for a while!

A much needed interior detail was done this morning. Maybe the exterior will get done this weekend, after a short road trip to who knows where.

Pulled my MINI into the center of my garage, turned on the oscillating fan and went to work.I washed the car and then used a clay bar on all the painted surfaces. Then wiped her dry and applied a polish after that i finished up with a coat of carnauba wax (turtle wax). But thats not all, i then pulled one wheel at a time washed and waxed inside of wheel and then applied a tire dressing and reinstalled. Cleaned windows inside and out, shook out floor mats then went to the gas station and filled up. I started at 0600hrs and just finished at 1130hrs. five and a half hours, but a labor of love.

Used my amazing handling to avoid a ups truck. the truck driver fell asleep behind the wheel and his truck cut over into oncoming traffic and straight towards me and i swirved out of the way and it ended up totaling 3 cars behind me. the first car that got hit was pretty fatal. i thank my mini

By fatal do you mean the occupants of the first vehicle were deceased due to the collision. If thats the case you were lucky.

Wow.
You're lucky there was an empty space to swerve into to avoid that truck! Traffic here in Phoenix can be so backed up at rush hour that you have no space to swerve....

C ya,

NICE!!

I still think it might be a bit much Chrome for me, I've got the JCW Grill, and I'm thinking of going with Black Driving Lights and Caps just to contrast the colors a bit, also getting MS MOLY some Chrome Mirror Caps!!

Not actually a bad time for all what you said you did but yes at the end well worth it. Now get a beer sit in a chair and admire the work while the sun goes down gleaming off a awesome clean Mini.
