Fixed my non spraying windshield and rear window washers.

Took out the inner fender liner removed the washer bottle (pump and level as well)

I had a really cool science experiment going on in there .
1/3 full of mirky, stinky, green/grey, slime.

I hate using heel-and-toe just to keep the engine from dying. Heel-and-tow. Tow-and-heal.

I filled my wife's Justa with washer fluid yesterday as it was completely emptied and checked her oil.

As far as my MCS goes, didnt do anything to her but she is acting up again on cold start. Idle dip and shudder. Don't know what's wrong... no CEL yet. Bugs me, all plugs and injectors were replaced at 8k miles by dealer only have 10k now

@got-m1ni how many miles do you have on the car. In certain cases it could be carbon buildup on the valves.

Added Grimspeed License Plate Relocation Kit

After 8 months I decided I was pushing my luck without a front license plate so I ordered the Grimmspeed relocator from outmotoring.com. This is a quality product! You get everything you need in the box. Check out the pictures for what came in the box. I installed it and it is very sturdy and fits really close to the bumper. If you decide to get one try using the promo code "grimmspeed". It got me a $20 discount off the price.

@ ghuszar - I had a P0301 misfire code at 7800 miles and dealer had it for a week to trouble shoot, changed all spark plugs and injectors and checked pump. It seemed ok since but also got warmer but past few mornings had been cooler again and it seems the symptoms are back. Car only had 10.5k miles now.

Dealership just called. High pressure fuel pump failure. Covered under MINI's extended warranty emissions control coverage. 10 years/100,000 miles.

We are now discussing the $200 towing charge.

My advice: cover the bolts with rubber. Cars back into the plate and push it into the bumper.

Installed thermostat #5 (150k and a few hundred miles); also replaced a worn coolant hose before it burst all the way.

About two weeks ago, OBC was showing front brakes are due for service in 10k miles and rear brakes due for service in 6k. But today, it gave me the 600 miles to service warning for the front brakes when I started my car on the way home from work. Oddly enough, the rear brakes are still showing due for service in 6k miles. So I jacked up the car, pulled off the wheel to get a closer look and sure enough, the left front rotor
have new scratch marks from the brake sensor; the rears have none. Has this ever happened to anyone else where the initial estimate of the OBC was way off mark? Anyhow, while I had the car jacked up, I ended up adjusting Koni yellows a half turn to stiff from full soft. Also, got an appointment for free brakes since I am at 32k miles and will probably hit 36k in a couple months.

Ouch! Sounds like the voice of experience. Thanks for the heads up. I actually put some washers on the front side of the plate so that the screws don't extend out the back instead.

Thanks but, no, it isn't. Question will merely be who pays for what.

So as a 50,000 mile birthday present for the Pocket Rocket, I got her a set of front JCW calipers and EBC rotors and pads. Installed in about 90 minutes this evening, then took her for a nice ride afterward. Tomorrow should be a wash/wax day I think.

I had my grill plastidip'd black to see if I might like a black aero grill, but each time I peeled it off. Although I am considering an aero grill soon!

I have a Thule 400xt, it doesn't bolt onto anything, but grabs onto the roof gutter rails. I was skeptical at first, but it has no problems carrying to Trek bikes. I got this because I didn't want to drill on the roof as well; plus it's nice to have it off once in a while and not have holes or bumps on the roof :P
