Ya mean ours don't? Perhaps, then, we need one of these:

(not mine)

Installed an OEM roof rack and I'll NEVER take that $(&%ing thing off! What a pain. Good thing I have always left the rack on all my cars all the time. It definitely looks great though. Soon I'll be making a custom roof basket...

Cute idea--borrowed from the old air-cooled VW crowd.

Someone should make one that mounts on the rear wiper shaft....

C ya,

pull off the door rest and make sure the torx bolts are tight... if that doesnt work try to get some felt tape and line some of that... i did that and it worked like a charm... no rattles

I took the ridiculous factory 'noisemaker' off. Good riddance. Plugged it with an expanding plug from NAPA.

Tx I will check it out. Don't want a dealership visit for silly rattles yet.

Was driving home today when there was a Smart car... Red with silver roof accents. There were two sizable guys in there who looked a lot like the Super Mario Brothers. At various times I guess a great tune was playing so the whole car moved around as they 'danced' in their seats. Anyways they were constantly checking out my JCW and when we were stopped next to each other, they opened the window and took a snap with their phone and looked rather embarrassed that I had caught them in the act. Anyways didn't bother me but I thought it was amusing to see two big guys with mustaches in their Smart car.

Does your car have the plastic pipes under the dash? I took mine out: rattle gone!

Plastic pipes under the dash?? I am curious... will have to check that out.

Forgot to add the pic earlier... AZNOptics LEDs installed. iPhone pic colours are fairly accurate. It looks slighly blue in the pic, but in person looks good. Very happy with AZNOptics products so far.

Sometimes referred to as "down pipes" - you know, those vertical plastic tubes that are on either side of the heater controls. I think MINI wisely got rid of them on later models. I have a 2006 R53.

By noisemaker, are you referring to the rear wiper?

In case you don't know the R56 MCS has a noisemaker attached to the turbo line...though really the rear wiper is louder!

Purchased a NM Engineering Exhaust in preparatory celebration of Caroline's first 5000 mile oil change. Figured that with the car being worked on underneath, why not get the exhaust finished too??

Windows tinted! Although thanks to state law, it's not as dramatic as most you see around these forums. Ceramic, has a bit of a greenish-gray tint to it, perfect for my LG

(Pardon the terrible glaring lens flare nonsense thanks to being in the garage, I really need to take some natural light pics!)
