When you need or want new brake pads don't use the stock pads. Go with a ceramic pad. I'm using the Red Stuff pads. There is still some dust but it's only about 10% of what the stock pads put out.

I forget which pads I put on my R53, but I'm about 90% sure they were ceramic pads. It's incredible how much less dust the new pads make - I rarely ever have to clean my wheels any more (white s-lites for the summer). I highly recommend that you go with ceramic pads, SCMountaineer...you won't regret it!

Finished painting my head lights rings and my new tailgate handle black, hopefully putting the rings on tonight and I will install the handle when the LED bulbs come in.

Need to swap my M7 strut tower defenders for the cravens due to my ballast interference.

Took mine bowling with several Mini friends!

Oh, and replaced the front lower control arm bushings with Powerflex, finalized the exhaust, and put the winter iPike's on...

Haha I was just going to say stop using brakes. Who needs em. Ceramic pads are probably the better option

My Brembos put out a lot of dust and have just started making a little squeaking noise as I first apply the brakes after 2500 km. Man are they ever loud braking in reverse.

Phx JCW - that's an awesome picture. Very strange shot without any wheels.

Phx JCW....nice ride. By the way, I saw a PINK 6V Mini at Sears but the love didn't go into it like the one you painted for the daughter.

Put my newly painted black head light rings on. Now I just need to put on the tailgate handle and get my black JCW style grill in the mail.

Put in the MINI Spare Tire Kit / MINI Spare Tire Tray Kit that I ordered from Detroit Tuned in my 2011 R55 "S". Everything fit like a glove except for the Tow Hook. The Tow Hook that comes with the 2011 R55 is too big for the provided Tray kit molding. Great product IMO. Thanks Chad.

Get mine back from dealer today (had to replace the tensioner problems). Still excited that they got Mini to pay for $1200 of the work. After picking him up, going to wash and detail him. Been without for 3 days and really missing it.
