I'm in Wall, NJ ... you want to come here with the kombi and your car i'll install and code it for you. I bought my KOMBI at minipartsdirect.com ... took a while to arrive as the inventory in USA is low and it had to be special ordered from Germany .... ~ $500 USD cost ... cheapest I could find online a few months ago when i did the upgrade
My F60 came with an EnavVevo HeadUnit which does not have MOST interface or Navigation feature or HUD. I was able to upgrade to 8.8" screen. My Speedometer has only the 12 Pin connector cable at the behind. Can I upgrade to the 6WB instrument cluster?.

Hi Varma - your headunit needs to have MOST to use the digital instrument cluster.
So they sent me the wrong part. SE instead of SD -.- Well, seems like I need to wait a little longer. In the meantime, checking out ESYS. BTW does anyone have a working PSZdata link?
@sunstarfire I am interested in doing this on my SE Countryman. Can you confirm that the tach is replaced with the silly energy monitor gauge? Also it was reported earlier in the thread that the SE and GP panels were glass and the others were matte screens. Is that the case?

You need to find the appropriate part # for the Countryman SE. The 2021 model year Countryman SE has the new digital cluster, so it shouldn't be too difficult to find that info. Whether it's the same part # as the cluster found in the Cooper SE or not, I don't know.
I have also heard talk about the earlier digital clusters being glass, but the new one that I ordered from my dealer a couple months ago definitely has the matte finish on it.

Hey. I did not remove the plastic foil on the display, but it looked glossy to me. Already sent it back. But yes, the tach is replaced with the EV gauge. The correct part number for the SE Countryman (I know because I was sent this) is 6210: 5A189E0-01
Silly question: Is there anyone here who knows how this ESYS works and can give a description? I have Esys 3.33.4 and pszdata lite 4.27... do I need the launcher? Or is that all I need? I know I need the cable. Can someone give me (or point to) a step by step explanation on how to install and use this, and whether I need something else? I only find tons of forums who want signing up and money for the whole thing... Thanks.
I was successful in using ESYS 3.33.4 and psdzdata lite 4.24.31.
Steps for coding are as follows:
1. uninstall old kombi
2. install new kombi
3. Fire up ESYS 3.33.4 paired with psdzdata lite 4.24.31 in Expert --> Coding mode
4. Connect for F56 Project via Gateway connection
5. Read FA
6. Save FA
7. Edit FA
8. Change Zeitkriterium=0320
9. Edit SALAPA-Element
10. Add 6WB in appropriate alpha-numeric order to existing codes
11. Right-Click on FA at top of tree and click Calculate FP
12. Hit Save Icon
13. Hit Back Icon
14. Anser "Yes" to popup window asing to reload the file in module Coding
15. Right-Click FA and click Activate
16. Read ECU
17. Find "KOMBI" in ECU tree, left-click on it 1x
18. Hit Detect CAFD for SWE button
19. Click the CAFD under the ISTEP that matches the iSTEP of your vehicle
20. Back to ECU tree --> Left-Click on KOMBI ECU
21. Click CODE button, wait for completion and success message
22. Close ESYS
23. Fire-Up ESYS (with ESYS launcher if you haven't used this originally to start ESYS)
24. Perform FDL coding as necessary on your HU to ensure that the following are set as below:
KOMBI_CIC: set to kombi high
EXTERNER_MOST: set to aktiv
25. Enjoy your new GP3 Digital KOMBI
Good morning. Huge thanks to @pillpusher84 . This worked on my 2019 F60. One of the important things actually is the correct version of E-Sys and psdzdata. I tried E-Sys 3.27, and it did not work, since that could not detect the CAFD. In case you are wondering what this is looking for: Bimmercode showed me the I-Level. I had F056-20-11-545 installed, because I wanted the Fullscreen Carplay. It works with that. Before I had F056-19-3-522, no idea if that would have worked. Thanks to everyone else for all the hints and tips. Hardest part was actually getting a working version of E-Sys, and getting the cables out of the old Kombi Interesting sidenote... until the coding is done, the HUD will also not work, and once everything is coded, the font displayed in the HUD has changed and is similar to the one in the new display.
Thanks again everyone!

With the help of forum member @ndal .... I think I have the complete setting changes (will test tonight when i have the car) you can make in ESYS (Still no support for the new KOMBI with Bimmercode as ECU doesn't even appear in list) to achieve the following LOGO changes and restore JCW HUD theme despite there being no CAFD Translation (Trimmed Function) when using ESYS Launcher for your EST Token Solution:
*** ALL BELOW TESTED and CONFIRMED ACCURATE 09-11-20 8:45am EST ***
Be sure to code the following in your HU as well:
HUD_SPORTANZEIGE_ENABLE ............................ werte=01
HUD_SPORTANZEIGE_FES_ENABLE ................... werte=01
HUD_SPORTANZEIGE_MS_GASSE_ENABLE ...... werte=01
------------------------------------------------------ JCW Logo on 6WB Screen Coding: 3000:
3000_87_87_2 ......... werte = 01
3000_90_90_31 ....... werte = 11
---------------------------------------------------
Other valid werte's for 3000_90_90_31:
00 = No Logo @ Top of Screen
0B = eDrive Logo
12 = GP Logo
Hey @pillpusher84 , could you give a more specific location as to where those values are in E-Sys (module, etc)? Also, what does "3000_87_87_2" for example mean?
Hi Everyone.
I already have my brand new 6wb and obd reader. when i try to download from the latest link in this thread, my winrar program deliver the next message:
does anyone knows is there another link to download it?

thank you guys
Updating...
my bad... the previous error was generated by an old winrar version
now that I have the two correct files from the previous links on this thread, I don´t know how tu run ESYS properly. I recieved the follow warning message
Well, i figured out how to solve my psdz files problem in order tu run properly ESYS in my laptop.
After that, I uninstall the old kombi and put the new one, as you know a lot of warning lights pop up. I follow step by step (until line 22, if my understanding is correct; if you have a MOST connection yo don’t have to perform below that points)
everything was perfect, but 2 seconds after I hit the alarm button on the control and the car was locked, the alarm system starts to sound. on the other hand, when the car is automatically secured (without push any button on the remote control) there is no sound from the alarm system (even the acustical confirmation)
all this changes were made on a F57 s Hot chili 2017 model year
many thanks in advance with your help
PS sorry if my english sucks :P

Well... I fix it. It seems if you have the acoustical confirmation active and then you install the new kombi, somehow screws up the alarm. I reverse back to not active the acoustical confirmation and code it, and again I code it to active and my alarm is ok again. This happened to me on a F57 2017 model year. Hope this info helps you as reference. Thanks for the video and the detailed list to do this.
Is there anyone here who can explain what these values (3000_87_87) mean? Also, I think, the latest psdzdata and launchers do have the codes in there, so any pointers as to what to look for in order to get a JCW logo into the 6WB cluster?
BTW there is no secret to getting the minimap in the new cluster if you have the HUD. Just turn it off in the Car Settings, so it goes down, and the minimap will appear in the cluster (if you have navigation running).
Hello All - Hit a brick wall and am needing assistance please!
2015 Cooper S Hardtop w/ harmon headunit (larger screen, no tuch, Nav, no hud)
esys: 3.33.4
PSdzData Lite: 4.28.21 (only download I was able to find, via link the one working link in this thread)
I did not have a MOST cable so I ran one from headunit to new kombi
verified that the fiber is in fact functioning, can see the light
verified the rest of the vehicle is functioning (i.e. headunit, other electronics)
following instructions I get all of the way up till step 9 (find KOMBI in ECU tree)
Kombi is missing. In fact, my ECU tree only has 15 different folders (noted by the [15] to the right of the tree's title
The kombi in its current state threw a whole slew of errors on the center display and is not displaying my mileage/fuel level/anything accurately.
From reading the thread (like 12 times..lol...) I am just trying to include as much info as possible. Any screen shots or other photos can be attached as needed. More than willing to get on the phone/teamviewer with you if you need to see it also. Any help is greatly appreciated!
@msimon.wi , I can't offer you any help, but eagerly await someone offering you the solution you seek. If you get it outside this thread, please come back, and share it with us.
Honestly, I am wanting to do this myself. What makes me fearful, is that I still don't understand why my 2016 would have come from the factory with software/firmware installed for a feature (digital speedo/kombi) that will not even exist until several years later.

no reply yet, I will be posting in a few other places. Would love to have this work but if it just isn’t able, I’m really only out the time and few hundred the kombi cost.

I agree with your statement though!
I had the same issue. Followed everything through but no KOMBI showed up.
I made a mistake connecting the MOST connection in the wrong direction, in short, I adjusted the connection where the indication 1 is facing the top and wala!
