What did your dealer show you to tell you that you were on 2.49.0? I just had my car reflashed for the brake software update and re-coded with the v48 datens afterwards, with no issues.

Sounds like he has it on the service order. It's not that far-fetched -- ISIS confirms loads beginning April 8th (last Monday).

Anyway, I have you guys covered as always.

Yes - I just stripped the data folder and zipped the rest. Only use what you need.

I'm not sure we understand you or what you're asking for...

Could you try to ask another way?

If you're asking about the ability to fold/unfold the mirrors with the fob, then no - that's not possible.

Another member and I were working on auto-fold on key out, but it was just over-complicated.

It's been a while since I recoded my 2011 Countryman to have 1 touch sunroof open/close. My car is currently at the dealer and they stated they need to keep it over night to reprogram.

If the sunroof option gets overwritten I'll have to recode. It's been a while since I recoded and I'm trying re-educate myself on how to do this using your handy guide and I have a couple of questions.

1) Do I need to use the new datens?
2) I'm a little bit confused by the daten files provided. I know those files are to be placed in the proper directories on the computer, but how do they interact with the data read in from my car? Does the daten version need to match what is read from my car and if so, how do I know which version my car has?

Thanks!

I was reading through the thread. Has anyone been successful in coding a 2013 Countryman yet? I saw that the 2012 was untested in the original post.

Hi, I got 9/2012 Countryman S and tried to code by following the instructions in this post. INPA shows both Battery and Ignition are On but NCS Expert seems failed to even read VIN from my car. I tried Daten v41, 48 and even 49, all same failure result...
Anyone can help for my case.. Thanks!

Picked up my car today after the programming was done. You're right, none of the one touch went away.

creep, it doesn't matter if you know the Daten version on your car. ALWAYS use the latest Datens posted here.

Thanks Theta for confirming on the 2013 countryman's. Looks like I'm coding my 2013 JCW CM today. Crossing fingers that it all goes well.

Check your cable. willing to bet there are two soldered pins that need to be unsoldered in order to work properly. Just open the cable, you'll see the soldered pins, heat up your soldering iron and touch it to the solder until it melts away. Once separated, close up your cable and try again.

I was very nervous about doing this myself but then I remembered that I'm a nerd with a cool car and I had an old soldering iron from an old computer kit. found it, plugged it in and I was in business in 5 minutes, coding 10 minutes later. Good luck!

One more thing, my cable worked on my 2011 R60 out of the box (soldered) but had to be unsoldered to work on my wife's 2012 R57. Now it works on both cars flawlessly.

You beat me to it - that's a cable issue. Pin 8 needs to be corrected - it's pretty common in this thread.
