Electrical Countryman-Specific Coding - R60 Guide
yeah i think im on the bleeding edge. Im friends with the tech at the dealer and he sent me a pic showing it is 2.49.0 and the work papers the dealer gave me says the same thing. 2.49.0.
I had them reflash from 2.48.0 to 2.49.0 because the older version took out my bluetooth voice activation. 2.49.0 fixes this (and other stuff I presume)

it says right on my paperwork that they updated to 2.49.0 to fix brake issue and also bluetooth issue.
If you're asking about the ability to fold/unfold the mirrors with the fob, then no - that's not possible.
Another member and I were working on auto-fold on key out, but it was just over-complicated.

It's been a while since I recoded my 2011 Countryman to have 1 touch sunroof open/close. My car is currently at the dealer and they stated they need to keep it over night to reprogram.
If the sunroof option gets overwritten I'll have to recode. It's been a while since I recoded and I'm trying re-educate myself on how to do this using your handy guide and I have a couple of questions.
1) Do I need to use the new datens?
2) I'm a little bit confused by the daten files provided. I know those files are to be placed in the proper directories on the computer, but how do they interact with the data read in from my car? Does the daten version need to match what is read from my car and if so, how do I know which version my car has?
Thanks!

Hi, I got 9/2012 Countryman S and tried to code by following the instructions in this post. INPA shows both Battery and Ignition are On but NCS Expert seems failed to even read VIN from my car. I tried Daten v41, 48 and even 49, all same failure result...
Anyone can help for my case.. Thanks!

I was very nervous about doing this myself but then I remembered that I'm a nerd with a cool car and I had an old soldering iron from an old computer kit. found it, plugged it in and I was in business in 5 minutes, coding 10 minutes later. Good luck!
One more thing, my cable worked on my 2011 R60 out of the box (soldered) but had to be unsoldered to work on my wife's 2012 R57. Now it works on both cars flawlessly.
