So I could not get the unlock doors upon keyfob removal code to work. Before I tried, when I removed my keyfob the drivers door unlocked. Now none of the doors unlock?? Any ideas?

It seems you had it before you coded it out. To get all doors to unlock instead of just the drivers door, you have to change the option through your vehicle settings (once you have the unlock string enabled in the CAS module).

For some reason when I drive for a while at night, stop to run into a store and come back out when the auto headlights come on, the fogs don't and I get the symbol shown in the photo. Funny part is the bulb check for the fog lights is coded out as I am using HID's. It appears by changing the code to have the fogs come on automatically with the headlights, they are activated by the parking lights.

Has anyone coded a 2013 R56? I tried last night, but it looks like the V46 daten files are not new enough.

Let me see what I can do about that.

EDIT: I'll have a fix for this soon.

EDIT2: Still working on this.

Try the V46 first. Should be fine on a MY 2012 R60.

I'm working on the newer ones at the moment but they've tightened this up a lot, guys.

Sun Roof

So successfully changed a few things on my first try.

I first got the keyfob to close all windows with the locking button.

Also, I thought I disabled the door dong but it seems to still happen although I'm wondering if it's warning me about the key being in still?

Tried to do the one touch sunroof. It opens and vents ok with the one-touch, but now when I close it, it stops in increments and I have to repush the button repeatedly until it closes completly. I then went and put the original file back in to try and fix it, but it's still doing the same thing.

Wondering if this error has to due with the stopping problem. I believe this started after changing the module for the keydong with open door.

Hmm... I've not seen that error display before. Triple_O, you have any idea what that is?

Try keeping the modified file with the changes loaded to the car, but reverting the Key Gong Disable back to the default setting of:

CC_ZUENDSCHLUESSEL
aktiv

in the KOMBI module.

Ugh, freaking out a little.

Can't get the error to clear even after reverting everything back...

Decided to ignore it until someone replied so I started modifing the files again to the specifications I wanted. I uploaded the KOMBI file and the setting is fine.

Now when I open the NCS software, I load everything and get the VIN and other info to display, then when I hit "Go Back" I get this error on the software

COAPI-1141: FSW faulty s

then I cant do anything.

Also, didn't realize the NATTODAT files were different with each module. Didn't save all the originals. Could there be an issue since I wasnt always reading and then writing modules? I had a few of the files good to go after I modified them again, so lets say, I did my CAS change blah blah blah, then changed to the KOMBI module, replaced my .MAN file, and deleted the original FSW_PSW. but could the NATTODAT mess it up since I executed my job without reading the module again?

Can you use the software to clear any errors like regular diagnostic stuff can?

Not with this level of coding - this is only customization.

We (some of us) have more specialized tools and systems (ISTA-D/-P/ISIS) to dig a lot deeper.

That could certainly be an issue, as each of those are unique to the module. It's best to read every one into its own folder and drag copies out from there to upload.

Following your hypothetical there, it could certainly screw things up by not doing a full read of the next module before writing it.

Did you save the FSW_PSW from each module as you went?

Yes I have the original FSW_PSW files, just dont have all the NATTODAT files...

But as of right now, I cant edit anything since I cant get past the error in the NCS software to read/write anything.

In rare cases, this can help:

Go in the work folder and open the FSW_PSW.man file and delete everything in it (then save). The COAPI-1141 error should go away.

I think it's in everybody's best interest to keep it here - this way it will help others in the future! Ask away!

The last reply should take care of you for sure. Delete the contents of the .MAN file and save. Then retry.

OMG your a lifesaver lol. I thought my life was over. I had a single "S" charecter left when I deleted and saved the file...

Now, since I had previously uploaded files with re-reading some first, are the NAT files probably changed and possibly uploaded to the wrong module? Should I try to save them now even though other files were modified?

Nice - glad that worked!

I hate to say it, but there's not much you can do now. Can't give a good suggestion as to what to do about that, but in that situation, I would re-read all of the modules before attempting to code again.

Once you re-read, you can try to re-code and see if things work back out.

Let me know how it goes.

PHEW! Such a relief right now lol.

Was able to reprogram everything just fine. I read each module and saved the NAT file that was populated. I checked them all at the end and they all seemed different so hopefully nothing happened to them. I then edited one of the original TSW files I had saved from the beginning and uploaded each one after reading and replacing the modified original.

Still getting the error for the sunroof although I never changed the keydong or stopping the windows from rolling up while door is open.

May just wait till the summer when I would use the sunroof and have them take a look at it after changing all the stuff back to the originals.

And one last question, as far as the window rolling up when door opened, it's covered in two modules, do both need to be changed in order for it to work?

Yes, I believe you would need to alter both.

If you still have issues with getting the sunroof to act correctly, you can always have them flash your car if you ask nicely for a software update. Then, you can start over more carefully!

At least everything turned out good for you!
