Looking at the time stamp of your PM vs post, it looks like you're all sorted out. Congrats!

Is there any way to have fogs come on with the headlights? Also for some reason all codes worked except doors unlock when keyfob is removed?

Check your coding for a typo on the unlock with keyfob removed. I've got it working just fine.

Fogs on with headlights isn't possible, sadly - I was searching for that forever. I also tested a few hardware modules from previous generations - no dice.

For now, we'll have to push the button.

It is possible on BMW's with the FRM3 module.

See if you guys have SL_FKT_MIT_NSW in your FRM modules.

Please note that although the option may be in the overall trc file, does not mean your car has the option. It can only be determined if you read the FRM module and find it in there.

The coding index (which determines what options can be coded) isn't actually read until you read the module for the first time.

Just read v45 - we do have that in the FRM. Doesn't mean it will work, but it won't hurt to try!

If I didn't have to drag my home PC into the garage I would be all over this today. It would be awesome if this works!

No ****. It works! Warning, it does completely disable the fog light switch in the interior so you cannot turn the fog lights off. The fogs will also come on automatically with the parking lights.

Triple is there anything else on the BMW side that might be compatible with the Mini's?

Sounds good, I had emailed an R60 owner and he said it worked but at that point you guys had tested it already!!

Generally, there are many options that cross over from BMW, is there something specific you're looking for?

The mini options from the first page do cover a lot of items, I just noticed the foglight one was an ongoing issue.

Auto sport mode? Rather than having to push the button.

That would be mind-blowing seeing as how it requires hardware on these 2nd gens. Seriously doubt this is possible, but I could be wrong.

You need a cheap laptop I had one, the screen seems to have quit working...... probably from keeping it at weird angles in the car.

Looking at an R57 Cabrio (2013) for my wife. Can anyone tell me where I can find coding options for an R57? I can't seem to find much of anything online.

Primarily, all of the options will be the same as the R56/R60

well, so I figured that much but specifically I'm looking for things involving the soft top, options that a hard top may not have. Unless I can code opening the top like I coded the sunroof but I would think on a convertible there would be different options.

Best bet would be to go the the Gen2 coding thread - I'm sure there will be sunroof options over there like in the Gen1s.

I've coded an R52 to open and close the convertible top with the keyfob but have not come across any R57 owners yet. I will tell you that on earlier BMW's (E46's and E93's) I have been able to code this as well, but after software updates BMW has disabled this feature on convertibles without comfort access (E93, E63, E88). We are still looking at some coding workarounds though.

I don't know if this feature is disabled on the R57 Mini.
