How about the big UK king pin coming over here where all the world records are held in drag racing. Maybe the king should prove his point over here.

This is now funny-sad.

Jan's track of choice is a road course.

Paul's track of choice is the drag strip.

No in-between, unless Paul comes to SOW and they run up (or down) the main straight.

But like mbcoops said, lets get back on topic to the TVS. Christmas is the time for goodies, after all.

And the funny thing is the fastest MINI in the 1/4 mile is one that Jan helped build...

So which bolt did you touch on the drag car then

Yup blew it up and still coasted across the line faster than you've ever been in a mini

why is there always an excuse by you when people can't beat my time?
Streets is used as a test bed for all cars.... why?

because it's a great test of driver and car........ so why hasn't Bob announced his times on SOW? His website says he has run it.......

I'll tell you why.... because he hasn't beat it

Funny, I was reading a MINI mag last night that had several pictures of Jan working on that car and holding a huge trophy. Either that, or they are all really short. also had some pictures of a cool looking Diablo car, but was thin on the info.

I was there at the beginning and after about 6mo realised that drag racing Mini's was a no win situation in building a company. Paul still hasn't figured this out.... Some are just a little bit tougher to crack

Amen, drag racing a mini wooot . Theres always gonna be the american muscle car that spent less than half what you put into your car that will run just as fast if not faster... 9 secs of fun < 1:30 around a track a few laps

Perfectly said. I think Paul has realized that but is a bit hardheaded to admit that, so therefore he is trying to do anything to bash other people that are more successful. Stop dragging this on already.

So why did you spend the next 2 yrs and countless $$$ building a drag mini to beat the fireball team, but only raced it once on the dyno

http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=R_07xTYux2M

Where is that dyno sheet ?

Thats true but they dont handle and I should know

But I dont want a one trick pony, I want to be able to go to Santa Pod and run 10s then drive another 1hr and go to Silverstone and show some of them how quick a Mini is

Since your running the TVS already jan, how loud is it compared to the stock M-45?

I know its bigger than the TVS-900 will be, but just wondering if it might have a little more 'stealth' to it.
