Have you guys looked at the efficiency curves for this thing...its nearly as good as a turbo going from ~50% at 2 bar for M45 to ~68% in the TVS and flows nearly 100cfm more at similar speeds. It will definitely be able to push the 1.6L a good amount into the 300's.

Jan's already at 279 with an M45...that efficiency and airflow is worth well over 20hp

Yes I have. The 279 has had a bit of work done to it. Mine's basic bolt-on's and it's lower 260's. I figure it should put me in the 300's, but don't count your chicken's before the dyno sheet is in your hand.

The exhaust sound will make the masses happy. The engine seemed to make more noise from what I heard over the phone. Jan sounded overly pleased.

The line will be long for this one. Better get the worker bee's busy. Sounds like another hit for RMW.

First you'll have to wait for the TVS900 for our cars. The 1320 is for the stroker Jan has. After that he'll do the 900 for us small guys I hope.

Has there been any work on the 900?? I think I remember Jan saying something about going to Eaton and seeing if they will cast a mold of our superchargers so a 900 can be made? was that done? As you can see we are very anxious!!!!

I wouldn't get your hopes up for this till spring if we're very lucky. Although things may have changed, but you'd have to get Jan to answer that. I don't want to speak for him.

Sorry, this may be a dumb question but I've read a LOT of the posts in this thread and I'm confused as to how the new supercharger will add a lot of power if it is run at stock boost pressures. I understand that it will be a little easier on the engine as far as spinning the supercharger is concerned but where do the 20% power increases come from?

If the GP was paid off I'd jump on the stroker. Your a lucky dog if you have the funds. Good luck.

wonder which would work better on the standard 1.6L? Rotrex or the TVS900? How are these TVS compared to Rotrex in the real world/daily driver context?

Efficiency of the supercharger At the same boost this one pushes in much more air because the air is cooler so it's more dense.
