I'm talking 2.0. On the 1.6, 300 may be the limit. I'll take one for the team and put one on and report back on what the dyno tells.
Have you guys looked at the efficiency curves for this thing...its nearly as good as a turbo going from ~50% at 2 bar for M45 to ~68% in the TVS and flows nearly 100cfm more at similar speeds. It will definitely be able to push the 1.6L a good amount into the 300's.
Jan's already at 279 with an M45...that efficiency and airflow is worth well over 20hp

Yes I have. The 279 has had a bit of work done to it. Mine's basic bolt-on's and it's lower 260's. I figure it should put me in the 300's, but don't count your chicken's before the dyno sheet is in your hand.

True, I agree with you. Numbers are numbers, math is math, real world is
Has there been any work on the 900?? I think I remember Jan saying something about going to Eaton and seeing if they will cast a mold of our superchargers so a 900 can be made? was that done? As you can see we are very anxious!!!!
I wouldn't get your hopes up for this till spring if we're very lucky. Although things may have changed, but you'd have to get Jan to answer that. I don't want to speak for him.
Sorry, this may be a dumb question but I've read a LOT of the posts in this thread and I'm confused as to how the new supercharger will add a lot of power if it is run at stock boost pressures. I understand that it will be a little easier on the engine as far as spinning the supercharger is concerned but where do the 20% power increases come from?
wonder which would work better on the standard 1.6L? Rotrex or the TVS900? How are these TVS compared to Rotrex in the real world/daily driver context?

Efficiency of the supercharger At the same boost this one pushes in much more air because the air is cooler so it's more dense.
