I have planned on going for weeks. Buuuut, on Friday I scored two tickets to UFC 76 this Saturday night. The best part is we are in a VIP suite with everything comped. So it was the track or UFC. 
I'm going to watch Chuck Liddell and friends beat the hell out each other
Jan told me to just not drink, get up early and head to the track. Telling an Irish guy not to drink is just silly. And I'm going with a buddy who loves to drink. We are going to have fun. I will be sleeping in on Sunday morning.
Have fun and keep it safe. I will be at the next track day.

Thanks for making it worse for me. I already had to worm out of going with the wife, daughter and her five friends to the local amusement park on Saturday. The wife has been giving the guilt trip all week. Jan hasn't giving me to much sh%$. I think because he wishes he was going.

I was at the track with Jan and the MININUTS. I can tell you I personally watched him catch and pass, then pull away from some Evos and STI's as well as a Ariel Atom!
He was throwing down some decent lap times and the car performed flawlessly. And just to clarify I have no dog in this fight.

I was at the track with Jan and the MININUTS. I can tell you I personally watched him catch and pass, then pull away from some Evos and STI's as well as a Ariel Atom! He was throwing down some decent lap times and the car performed flawlessly. And just to clarify I have no dog in this fight.

Looking to go sub 1:30 next time, a few more tweaks and we are easily there.

How much horsepower does it take to go 1.30
What spec was both cars??
Which driver is the better driver??
Did you record any track data g-forces etc etc??

Wow great to hear. So I was reading an older article out of eurotuner and saw that you once had a turbo only set up which ran at ~475whp? So my question is how does this compare to that set up and would you be able to run in the same class? Thanks, Chris.
that article was written without my permission
it makes more hp than that and it is a drag ONLY car.
Danny and I joked about taking that car and putting the sway bars back on it, putting a smaller turbo on it and bring it to the road course.
That may be an option down the road
