Drivetrain Project X-300
then do a little research and realize that any MINI owner who rly goes for performance most likely has RMW products on cause they are that much better and if ur to shallow to realize that these things take time, then you should just leave because none of us want to hear you b@#$ n moan about not getting WHAT you WANT when you want it, you SNOB
Ok, *Ace*. You started posting in this thread today. So, where do you come in and start questioning this ground-breaking alternative supercharger kit and the time frame that it takes to devolope products? Have you ever done this much R&D, or this extensive. I think that you should be thanking Jan for taking this much time and caring that this product be the very best possible package for this type of unit. You will bite your tongue when this hits the market. Did someone say, "insert foot here(mouth)."
Ya'll crack me up. All Ace is doing is questioning why it's taking so long. RMW replies it will take as long as it takes. It's ya'll that are jumping all over Ace that are dragging this thread down. RMW knows whats going on and is the only one thats really fit comment on Ace's questions. Those of you jumping on are only perpetuating the reason NAM is becoming such a hostile place.

Edit
I should add that I've been modding cars since the early 80's and in that time more often then not the projects have taken longer then anticipated and been over estimate. It's just the nature of the beast when it comes to working on the bleeding edge.

I watch this thread daily and know it must be tiring for everyone to not know all the details about Jan's work, some of you are tired of hearing "hype" without finished results. I know Jan - Jan isnt working on creating a hype storm, he's working on some astoundingly cool projects for the mini that are taking some serious time and he is extremely excited about the journey of development that he is on - I'm excited that he's sharing it. I work in R&D for Oakley and can EASILY take 6 months to Research and develop a pair of sunglasses - their only damn sunglasses!!! Jan is working on 5 seperate revolutionary projects for the mini - all of which are going to bring us pant wettingly cool things to do to our cars and are massive projects. He's out in the deep water but he's swimming like a champ.
We all want numbers, we want proof, we want reassurance, we want competition and frankly, much of the time, we want blood in this tuners world! Jan would LOVE to have everything done by now and he would be sharing ALL the data with us. However, he is being a true engineer and wants to stand by his product, he can't do that until he has completed and tested systems. Until then he knows fine well he will deal with a ton of BS and skepticism, the skepticism is fair, it's part of the territory - he'll deal with it. I think if he did even the rotrex system within a year that would be an astounding achievement.
I'm not sure what my exact point is here, just lets keep the thread positive and be excited about the guy working his butt off on the minis. The more encouragement he has, the harder he'll work on it.

Patients is certainly a virtue that not all have.
Bumpin' this to the top to get back on track and stop the hatin' against Jesus. Jesus has been proven to be the real thing for the past 2,000+ years.
*hope this is not offending anyone's religion, I just wanted to bring a little humor into the discussion again*

I use to hate the little sqeeks and interior noises, now I love them, cause it's showing me that Mini charachter.
I'm loving my Mini more everyday. I find a good reason everyday to feel something new with the car. Also, it's not alway about performance and numbers but how you feel when you drive the car and the journey you take with it.

Make your point without resorting to insults, people.
Obviously the peanut gallery gets testy...
Revolution Mini Works:
Good luck with your system, hope you can get it tuned and working properly enough to produce a kit.
