Drivetrain Project X-300

To get it back on track I will let the cat out-of-the-bag by telling you I have started my 1.8L Stroker build to bolt my Rotrex kit up to. I've dreamed of building this for some time. I have some very trick items going into it and I'm more then willing to share, post pics and give details along the way.
Thanks,
Bryan

I think it's also some time for full disclosure - do you get paid for what you do for him? Do you get discounts on parts/installs/etc? In other words, do you seen any benefit from your undisclosed relationship with him (not publicly as yet)?

I guess since your not a Mini owner anymore you don't read NAM as much as you used to. I have answered this about ten time's on NAM giving full disclosure of my relationship and deal. Use the search engine to find the answer
Now back on topic.

staying on topic, are you rebuilding the motor because you want to or because you have to? Full disclosure and all.

Huge want. I've been planning on building this for a year. I've researched and talked to all kinds of people and I feel I have a very solid recipe for my 1.8L. Again, I know you've been away from NAM but I've been talking about doing this here on NAM for a while now. The idea of of a 1.8L motor built to my specs with the Rotrex bolted on it has had me salivating for some time.
First thing will be sending the head, valves, pistons, and bearings out for some coating at SwainTech

After everything you guys have done with the Rotrex up to this point and power level...you're gonna tear it all back down for a measly .2 liter?
EDIT: just read your post...you must have posted while I was submitting one.
