I know I know. He did a great job and the fit is perfect. The top of my intercooler is flush with scoop.LB

It's THIS Thumper

Bryan....I'm still laughing about it today...I said it 120943 times last night, but your car is absolutely unreal. I strongly strongly recommend anyone that has the chance, to take a ride in it. People might think that it has no power or torque down low...but that couldn't be further from the truth. Best way I found to describe it was like....
"ok wow, this is a quick MINI" (similar in pull to what a head/cam/exhaust MCS might feel like)
then the next second you're like "omg ok...this is pulling really fast now".....
next second..."omfg...theres no way its gonna keep pulling any harder than this!!"
next second...."WOW...this is insanity...theres no way it can pull harder!!!!!!!"
next second...."%^$& ****!!!

"And its at that point that you are well over 100...
and you shift again and the ride happens all over again.Bottom line....its like NOTHING else, and it's amazingly well executed. Congrats Bryan & Jan (and the rest of the RMW crew) on putting together such a well done car!!
I have to say returning from that ride your face was like a kid on Christmas morning. It rare to see a grown man with a grin that big.
I was checking that out in the first pic. Is the IC sealed up when the hood comes down?

Mini owners from USA are lucky, im in Europe and we don't have this to do to our cars :(, i wish it would be an RMW in Europe but that's a dream... does RMW have an Intercooler? what is the rotrex kit comes with?
Hi Jan & Brian! I'm finally back in Miami, FL. All I can say it's that the Rotrex kit prototype & your custom work it's very well done & impressive for the market. I just can't imaging the *** wooping this car will do at the track proving grounds

It was great meeting you and thank you for all your hard work. I realized after I went home you didn't get to drive my car. Sorry about that but I'm sure you will be back.
Yes, the new setup would really be on hell of a track monster for sure. We will see

Watch next week for details on the kit
I think you will be surprised about the news

Glad you showed up and I was able to take you for a tire melting session Thumper. I drove the car to work today with the wife. I continue to be blown away at the split personalities the car has. It really is smooth and well balanced package now. Your explanation above is classic

This project took a long time but we now know the combination to make some serious power with a SC 1.6L.

.I might throw in the RMW race cam next week and make another run at things
. I told my wife that later this year
I was going to make a new exhaust. I want to take Jan's quite exhaust and chop off one side. Meaning running a 3" single side using one of Jan's custom mufflers and a trick new tip set up. Should flow real nice Longboard
Hey Guys.. Any news???.. I've been stalking this thread since it's inception... (all the time trying to develop a "rational" explaination to combat my wife's "why do you need this?"). I"m not quite there, but none-the-less.. When can I get my Rotrex fix???
