but answer me this...

what cylinder head, suspension setup, tires, brakes, clutch/flywheel system did Ian's car have?
surely this would have contributed more then the mentioned RMW parts (bar the Newman cam/Aquamist w/m kit)? and before everyone starts attacking me, im questioning this cos I honestly dont know...so please educated me...

p.s. what is Ian's car producing n terms of HP/TQ? Thanks in advance

if you REALLY wanted to know and be educated you wouldn't have "tried" to answer the question with YOUR perceived answer. Since you have no experience in this area, I don't think your opinion means much especially to a racer who has DONE it

so without further ado..... your answer to the hp/tq question is:
TOP SECRET it's a race car

bring your tuner and a car in that class and find out

watch for other records to fall as there are plenty of race engines out there now that will be racing later this yr in many different classes

Ive seen 3 locked threads about the same crap. If you dont think Jan is telling the truth who cares. If you have it in your mind that you are right and he is wrong then so be it. If you dont want RMW stuff dont friggin buy it.

I buy from Jan because he has been great to me. Lots of vendors have! Chad @ DT has bent over backwards for me but I dont slander Way because he is not Chad. Way has bent over backwards for me as well!

actually, plenty of people would love to hear the truth. ask about number of failures - 100% chance you don't get an honest answer.

besides setting records on a track means nothing to the average joe (especially when the record is for a MINI....a rare car on the track so 'records' don't mean much)....just the vendor stirring up controversy. especially when the parts break within a year of buying them.

the whole us vs. them thing is orchestrated by the vendors themselves to drum up page hits. look behind the curtain, the mighty wizard is human and not very impressive once you have a look.

i am a customer of Helix's for about 5 years now and Eric recommends RMW. i will probably go with RMW when all is said and done when it comes to my new head and exhaust combo. i currently don't own any of RMW's or Mynes products. Am i to understand that if i just buy Mynes products you guys will finally all shut up? If that's the case can i get a Mynes sticker for my car and lets be done with it already. Back to the Rotrex...something i am interested in talking about. Peace

i dont rmw nor mynes parts on my lil monster...just trying to find out bout the claims thrown around that RMW is preceived to be the best mini aftermarket part...that is all...

I have some very trick items going into it and I'm more then willing to share, post pics and give details along the way.
