Drivetrain Project X-300
I haven't even completely finished testing this one.....
we don't release something before it's finished
patience..... we will soon be blowing the doors off

Here you go Chris!
I'm now averaging 4 degrees over ambient while cruising. With full boost runs I've seen around 115 degrees average. The recovery speed left Jan amazed. You can just watch the temp fall back to 4 over incredibly fast.
That's without the W/M on. You will also see my new "Air Chamber" manifold air intake which utilized an ARC Cool Fin heat-sink attached to the intake manifold. All these new items really help to get some very cool intake temps.

I forgot to tell you about the new oil cooler I added for the Rotrex. That also helps big time to lower my temps.
I worked on my W/M last night and ran it today and I couldn't believe the temp change. While hammering it the temps stay about 15 over ambient then once you lift off the throttle the temp drop down "below" ambient instantly before settling back at around 4 over while cruising and off boost. Really cool.

. It draws ambiant air in from the front grill and directs it straight into the log manifold. I made this based on what DrPhil and Partsman had made to work with the DFIC and adapted it to a down draft intercooler. I took it a little further and made a shield that covers "just the top" of the intake manifold. The idea being to stop some of the heat from soaking the intercooler. It's made from four layers of Thermo-Tec stuff. It's reflective on both sides. It also acts as the roof for the air chamber. The second thing I did different was to add an ARC Cool-Fin to the face of the manifold. This is just a stick on heat sink (very cool stuff). Turbo Mag tested this stuff and found up to a 10 degree drop with it on.
So now fresh air gets rammed into the air chamber and blasts directly into the face of the manifold. How much does this help? who knows but it can't hurt and was fun to make.

299.7
299.7 WHP
Sooooooo Close it hurts. Looks the only thing stopping it now might be the 2 1/2" exhaust. At this close to 300 the flow is huge and it might be time to up the exhaust a little.
All in all it's awesome and Jan got the TQ up all over
and can't try it out.Longboard
Here is one from earlier today and then the oh so close 299.7 from today.
ITS ALIVEEEE! ITS ALIVEEEE!
I got a ride. All i can say Is wow.
Very smooth Very linear. Quiet too. The rotrex has a very intresting sound to it thats for sure. The inlet temps are very low. and do return to just above ambient almost right now.
Its seriously amazing to be able to get out of the car after hammering it and be able to put your hand on Not one but Both Sides of the intercooler.
The tune is pretty well done so far but Jan says it needs some work yet.
Their was no real rough spots i noticed. and it did seem to Run a smidge rich.
The power was great its pretty much about what i think i would want for a daily driver.
Though the car rides a bit rough and seems to have alot of weight to it its phenominaly fast.
It was epic to pull up to The shop and see Longboards car Rustyboy155s car and A car with that crazy front mount intercooler set up.
But as far as nearing completion the rotrex is getting to be almost perfect.
I cant wait for the final "offical numbers" I know what its 299.7 now and its pretty impressive.
Theres a reason why Rmw is ahead of the game and cars and projects like this are it.
I know whats in the pipeline its gonna be Pretty intresting.
