Drivetrain Project X-300
And it's made from????
I see weld lines but will this eventually be cast?
Very nice sweep but can we get a peeky at the inside? I'm curious about the short radius.
Well done piece. I'm jealous.

. Sorry, no peeky inside yet. But, I do know why you want to look inside and I can assure you we have thought of everything. Well, almost everything. Our fabricators wife had a mild stroke so we are a little behind schedule. I don't care because good people come first. She is doing great now and he is back at it. Should be real close by the end of the day tomorrow.

This is the prototype. The real piece will be made from something very different

My Grandmother had several. Even "mild" is physically and emotionally draining. All my best to her and family.
PS I understand no peeking but I had to ask LOL

He said she just has no energy. That takes the longest to get I here.
Growing up in SoCal, I have beat myself up for years. Four concussions, broken ankle, broken leg, broken ribs, torn shoulders, blown right knee bla bla bla..
Recovery is the hardest part. I'm 40 and It hurts to get out of bed some days.

Here is a picture of the final fabrication work of the new Rotrex supercharger. Today we drove around with a low boost pulley on and the preliminary data is looking very good. We are going to put on a few different pulleys tomorrow and test. We will keep you updated!

Revolution Mini Rotrex SC
Well, the killer cantaloupe is up and running.
Today was safety day. Things were done slow and safe today. They put a low boost pulley on to run the car and test all the new oil, water and air connection. Everything worked as designed. The Rotrex SC uses a front mount oil cooler and external oil tank with filter. The car idles exactly like it did before.
They had me drive the car around the parking lot to warm it up. The new innovate motorsports A/F gauge wasn't finished getting installed so I didn't take the car past 5k. After about 5min of short pulls around the parking lot they had me bring it in to look it over.
Here is the amazing part. I opened the hood and placed my hand on the exit side of the intercooler. It was just warm. Then I quickly touched my fingers on the inlet side. Before it would be cooking hot. Not any more. I could place my hand on it and leave it there
. It was amazing.
Tommarow they are going to change pulleys and bring the boost up. After that, testing will start. I can't wait.

You still bringing the car out to the Cars and Coffee on Saturday? Is hitting 300hp the goal with the Rotrex or is it capable of going above and beyond? I am only familiar with the M45 supercharger, that is why I ask. Can't wait to see this beast.

As for HP, only time will tell. This is a new frontier.
