Drivetrain Project X-300
Good work boys!
We'd all love to see the tune results and some video.
Was there a big diff between the old meth kit and this one?
Are you still hounding Eaton re: TVS 900 project Jan???

. So yesterday was the start of weekend tune fest for Jan. I planned to get mine tuned yesterday as I have my son's B-day party and will miss the fun today. That said I took off work and we made some history last night.
While Jan was tuning R56 cars big howe and i hooked up the RMW meth kit. I will post some pics of the kit later today. This thing is sweet. It fit's like a clove in the trunk and clicks right into the factory D rings. I'll explain more later.
As soon as we finished the install Bighow and I took it out for a ride. I new things were
the moment I hammered it. The wheels kept breaking loose around 6000
.When we got back Jan asked how it felt. Ahhhh strong
. He asked me what I thought we would pull tonight. I said 310 and boy was I wrong
.330hp and 242lbft of tire melting fun
The difference in the TQ curve it just amazing. The car pulls so hard and just never stops. I took Thumper for a drive and all I heard was
coming from the passenger seat (nice meeting you Thumper).A huge

I also wanted to give a
to Dale at voltageproductsonline.com for stopping by the dyno to bring me my new all CF super scoop. The opening is huge and the fit and look is amazing.
Thank you Dale!!

Here are some pics of my new RMW meth system.
The hosed you see are left from my old set up and will be removed. See that machined aluminum brace across the bottom of the box. This was designed with notch's milled into the ends to fit into the factory D rings. It's really trick as the whole thing just snaps into the trunk and lock's in place with a single set screw. I love how tight it fits to the side giving almost all my trunk space back compared to my old system.

Here you can see the high speed valve and the water flow meter tucked between my air box and ECU cover.

Bryan....I'm still laughing about it today...I said it 120943 times last night, but your car is absolutely unreal. I strongly strongly recommend anyone that has the chance, to take a ride in it. People might think that it has no power or torque down low...but that couldn't be further from the truth. Best way I found to describe it was like....
"ok wow, this is a quick MINI" (similar in pull to what a head/cam/exhaust MCS might feel like)
then the next second you're like "omg ok...this is pulling really fast now".....
next second..."omfg...theres no way its gonna keep pulling any harder than this!!"
next second...."WOW...this is insanity...theres no way it can pull harder!!!!!!!"
next second...."%^$& ****!!!

"And its at that point that you are well over 100...
and you shift again and the ride happens all over again.Bottom line....its like NOTHING else, and it's amazingly well executed. Congrats Bryan & Jan (and the rest of the RMW crew) on putting together such a well done car!!

I havent been in it in quite a long time. back in the 250 hp days.
I loved it then. Im sure that it is even better now that its "done"
Really its probably the perfect daily driver thats always ready for fun.
So Congrats to all involved Jan, Bryan, Sean, Mike, and anyone else that contributed to the cars development. its pushing the limits of whats actually possible.

The new tune really tied it all together. I was talking to Jan last night telling him how unbelievibly smooth the car is. Cruising around the car feels silky smooth but then hammer it and hell breaks out.
It's just awesome.
