Jan,

Will there be different pulley sizes available or will you set the pulley size by what max rpm the motor will be tuned to run? Maybe the better question is how do you plan to determine the best pulley size to run?

I need you to go ahead and move out here to Indy, Jan. Lots of Motorsports here to immerse yourself in. There's even a little racetrack nearby that's kinda famous. Let me know if you need help packing?

Does that mean the stroker version can only be used with your engines that have an increased stroke?
or
is that just what you call it because stroker engines are normally low RPM and setup to make torque?

the stroker will run a bigger Rotrex than what we are using on Longboards.
We expect the stroker to be for guys wanting the ultimate torque machine.

Of course I have more projects underneath the radar and have another secret engine being built. Don't ask, as I am not ready to release info on it.

Testing begins shortly on the new street torquer series of M45 projects.... oops maybe I should do another thread?

Sounds good, but around here I would need the 1.6l version as there is always "testing" with the local Hondas, Acuras, Subarus, etc

Don't worry, I won't ask. I'm good with just sitting back to see what comes out next.

I'm expecting really good things once the tune pulls it all together. The car pulls crazy fast to red line. I just added a new Clutch Master stage 3 clutch and lightweight flywheel. I also added an OBX LSD. Yes, I said OBX. I figured for $399.00 why not give it a try. So far it's great. It made a huge improvement on how the car pulls coming out of turns. I also hooked my WM system back up which made another nice improvement.

Once we get the tune done I will get it on the dyno and post the numbers. It should be any day now I hope.

Then I have a date with the 1/4 mile.

Thats why you got to do the porsche disc brake conversion.

I cant help but get excited about people talking about VW's. I plan to build one in the future.

Heres the worlds fastest street-legal, all steel VW Bug.

http://www.vwtrendsweb.com/features/...beetle_ragtop/

2.3L with a monster turbo pushing out 500bhp. Running a 10.06 in the quarter.

anyways enough of the VW stuff. Keep the MINI updates comming.

That would not be cheap to have certified. I wouldn't hold your breath.

The Fireman's right... it also wouldn't be very quick.. it's a very slow process.

So if the system doesn't get CARB-certified, does that mean that a prospective Rotrex owner in Massachusetts--let's call him "Hans"--would fail his vehicle inspection?

FYI, CARB regulations also apply in MA....

Probably depends on CARB is interpreted in MA. IF all you really need to do is pass a sniff test then mostly it would pass assuming you run a decent cat and have a good tune. Now if they start peeking under the bonnet, all bets are off.
