Thought I would give an update.

The Rotrex kit is alive and well. Since the install I haven't had my W/M injection hooked up. I have put about 1500 miles on the kit. Since it's getting in the 90's I thought I would hook it up today. Glad I did .

Jan from RMW stopped by right as I finished. I told him to get in and lets go for a ride. Jan has allot of projects going on and has only been in the car once since the kit was put on. I had the stock BP valve working the last time he drove it the car. Since then the BP valve has been wired shut and the W/M has been turned on.

Wow is all I could say today. The way the Rotrex delivers TQ is just awesome. If you have never seen a dyno chart from a Rotrex car the TQ curve looks like a HP curve. It climbs from idle to red line. If you look at a Eaton TQ curve, it comes up, go's flat and them falls away. Very different .

With the W/M on the car it felt like it was 70 out instead of 92 . After about ten minutes of some fun driving we got back to my garage. I felt Jan had been a little optimistic about this project. After the drive Jan had a big grin on his face. "This thing is fast" was the first words he said after the drive. I can tell you his optimism was blown out of the water today. He couldn't believe how different the car pulls compared to when the M45 was on it.

Next up this Saturday I'm having Danny but in my RMW clutch and flywheel and an LSD. After that RMW will be tunning the car with Alta's Hydra . I can't wait.

He does have an open line of credit.... ME

If you are developing a product it's ONLY right that the company pays for everything in devoloping the kit. I have seen too many times that a person that takes on a project like this gets left high and dry. Not here at RMW.

If the IAT is as low as you say it is with the Rotrex compared to the M45 what is the real need for W/M injection?

We bought the W/M before we started this kit and wanted to see what effects it would have on the car since it was already installed.

As with any forced induction car when it gets that hot out you will lose power. There were no power losses at all with the W/M. Bryan has been throttling the living dog snot out of the car since I put it on and it just keeps running great. Once the low end is tuned to the proper timing/fueling maps to get it squared away this kit should be awesome. Rotrex cars love tons of timing and you can tell it wants even more due to the lower inlet temps.

The car gets to the rev limiter so fast at 7k it will be a nice change of pace to up it to 8k as it is begging for more. You can feel the torque increasing and the car telling you .... PLEASE DON'T SHIFT I WANT MORE

Tell me about it. I keep slamming into the rev limiter because it gets there so fast.

Thank you for the update! I'm really glad to hear it's going well! It's also nice to hear you're actually driving your car again too Longboard!

You are already running forged pistons right? 8k still sounds conservative.

Stock pistons all the way . We are running 18lb's of boost. 8K will be real fun.

I'm very glad to be driving again. I love this car.

As he said his name is Jan.

On everything he has done to my car I haven't paid a dime up front. If said product does what it is claimed then and only then do I pay at a vary vary good price. He doesn't expect me to pay for his development and fully appreciates the fact that I am willing to take the risk and give him my car.

There are plenty of people out there willing to pay full pop to be the first to get the next great thing. Jan would never take their money and that really says something about his character.

I was hoping he would blow it up so I could get a free RMW 2.0L .
