Hey Sharo, I live in Ventura and you can stay at my house. I think the couch is $89 a night. I think the track is about 70 miles from me about it is traffic free.
Let me know buddy

Further than that! It's a good 2 hours if you hit any traffic . You have to come up our way then head north up the 14.

The track may have a parking/entrance fee, but i'm sure it's minimal.

I'll be there, one of at least 3 other RMW "Jesus" equipped MINI's. Hoping Jan can work some magic on my car with a tune of some sort so I don't have my dinky stock rev limit on the track .

I think there will be 7 Mini's there as 3 of the nuts have signed up also

I hate it! Knowing that the car should have another 1500 RPM's when it runs out of steam. GIAC is taking forever on this tune .

I have planned on going for weeks. Buuuut, on Friday I scored two tickets to UFC 76 this Saturday night. The best part is we are in a VIP suite with everything comped. So it was the track or UFC. I'm going to watch Chuck Liddell and friends beat the hell out each other

Jan told me to just not drink, get up early and head to the track. Telling an Irish guy not to drink is just silly. And I'm going with a buddy who loves to drink. We are going to have fun. I will be sleeping in on Sunday morning.

Have fun and keep it safe. I will be at the next track day.

Nope, a different type of supercharger that is more efficient then the type the Mini comes with.

Much more!

The system has the capability of going to 300+whp. Longboard has it on his car now, ask him how he likes it .

A Rotrex Supercharger. It's basically a turbocharger on a belt. Very efficient (Almost no parasitic drag), very quiet, and TONS cooler than the stock SC (Again, highly efficient).

I don't think it will be only 10psi, it is going to be closer to 18-20psi of boost with the Rotex with a higher Rev limiter. I can't wait to drive longboards once its tuned.

I was under the impression that it was less, much less. 18 psi out of the rotrex is a lot. Could be though...

Yeah I talked to Jan a week or so ago and he said that Longboard was running 18psi. I can't wait to see how it turns out once it gets a tune.

I stand corrected then. Longboard's pushing quite a bit through there. God only knows what kind of dyno he'd get .

18psi is correct. Not a problem for the Rotrex. 20psi is max on the unit we are using

I have over 3000 miles on the kit with no problems. I have been hammering this thing non-stop. I can't wait to set the rev limiter at 8K. It needs a tune but we finally have a real solution . And, its one that no one would have expected.
