I took the day off work to watch Jan work on the tune on the dyno. It was a nice 90 degree day out at the dyno. This place was very cool. They even have a climate controlled engine dyno. I was surprised that they only had two small fans. They blow air at about 25 MPH. It didn't matter though. The car ran for ten minutes before the first of 5 base runs were made. They never turned the car off once between the runs. From the first to the last the car pulled within 2hp up or down from the first. This was amazing. It never heat soaked. I HAVE THE STOCK IC AS WELL!!! The results at the end of day one are just awesome. Jan did a great job.

The ride home took 45 minutes. It should have taken an hour but I couldn't help but hammer it. My water temp never got over 185 the whole trip. The car pull super hard yet is really smooth from idle to red line.

The best part is there is more to come.

Thats great news can't wait for him to come to Helix to do some east coast tunes

No frying from here....

I totally understand why you can't give the whole scoop.

But at the same time, it would be inhuman to be able contain the enthusiasm of such a sweet ride!

Longtime coming but well worth it I'm sure, Isn't hindsight the worst thing in the world espically when you all want is a tune.

How near do you think you are to the final tune as you are??

it's a road car, but you are welcome to come to the road course and find out

we have to go fix the fuel system as the injectors just tailed off above 7k
it will lay down over and over 250whp at 7k , something the eaton will NEVER do.

Hey Jan are you considering injectors larger than 380cc? I saw Tuls pointed out 440's, what will the benefit be?
I know that you can run more boost and then lean it back out, but is the kit maxed with the 380's?

Jan,

any idea on fuel economy changes?
(Also, if you would need an extensive test on the autobahn, let me know
The no-speed-limit zone starts about 20 miles from my home, just enough to get her warmed up.)

D^mn Bazer, you are a lucky SOB. To have the unlimited section of the autobahn as your playground.

it is definitely better than the Eaton, Longboard can chime in here but I have never seen him drive it like a normal car. It's usually floored

Well, when I'm not hammering it I see between 29-31 MPG. When I'm out playing Lewis Hamilton I get around 23. That's with the 380cc.

I can't wait for the next step. This thing drives awsome right now and knowing it's only going to get better makes me .
