Don't play Lewis Hamilton in China!

Is the mileage according to the MINI computer?

I still get 26 - 30 on the highway... and I have 550s and a whole lotta boost.... of course that depends on how much wieght I am carrying... like 500 lbs in my car cross country... 26 mpg... just me and a bag... 30

so this shouldn't really be an issue... :D

Very nice on the mpg guys!

(with prices around $8 a gallon you don't want to see the fuel gauge needle drop too fast....)

* puts lunch money in the Rotrex-upgrade jar *

there aren't any speed limits... but you have to use common sence... for instance boosting is a place where moms accually drive slow in the school zone.. and in neighbor hoods...

This is very true.

Well, hey since we are(were) off topic, is there any updates on the tuning yet?

So what size are you going to test this time around? And have you solved your intercooler choices?

440's.

The intercooler problem is still getting worked out. Making it work while keeping the price low is key .

just so EVERYONE knows.... we are NOT changing the stock intercooler out because of heat... we are changing it because of FLOW

we have logged the inlet temps and they are far below any eaton inlet temp .... I think what is bothering other people is the fact this car makes 250whp at 7k on pump gas and it isn't close to being finished.

this project is right on target.... 4-11 degrees above ambient at 90mph IAT
11 degrees was going over a 6%grade

Rotrex is very excited about this kit

why the heck would people be bothered by that? Sounds great . If it's not finished, can I get the unfinished product you just discribed for cheap . 250 whp is fine with me . Plus I get to keep my stock intercooler.

Research and ill-advised speculating follows...

From Rotrex.com:
"C30 1Lt to 4.5Lt Engine Capacity
100hp to 400hp Engine Output*
120,000 rpm Maximum Impeller Speed
1 : 9.49 Gear Ratio"

http://www.rotrex.com/pdfs/Rotrex_Te...Range_V1.6.pdf

Google Searches:
http://www.calisuperbikes.com/index_files/Page1651.htm

...see the C30-74 on the same page.

I make no assumptions in regards to RMW's kit, but I thought some people may find any information from above locations interesting.

Classic NAM...That would be MCO(MINI Cooper Online), but thats probably before most of you guys joined this site.

Getting back on topic...

Thats great news about the kit, 250hp @ 7k, awesome! Do you plan on having this kit available with that 8k redline?
