So the Rotrex conversion at 7k is worth 20whp at the moment when we compare Rusty v Longboards tunes.

 

His car will do it with a lot more torque, lower inlet temps, and has the capability to go a lot higher .

 

with bigger injectors and same red line.... even more.... bigger intercooler even more

 

Will the Rotrex conversion be able to accomodate an AGS filter?

 

No, it has it's own pipe from the TB

 

What do you use for an intake system?

 

whatever you like... the stock one will work

the TB is mounted in the stock location

 

Not good news for me then... cause I really love my AGS...

But if my SC goes... then I might have to forgo my AGS in exchange for the Rotex. Never the less, there's plenty of people on queue for it if I ever want to sell it!

 

I just realised.

If I go the Rotrex way, there wouldn't be anymore whine. Which totally negates my need for the AGS!

have you any plans on fitting the bigger versions of the rotex?? i heard they make one that can flow upto 600bhp worth of air! that unit could really take it to the Trubo only guys.

I've been following this since the beginning, and I have to say that I'm really excited about the possibilities with this setup. You guys are making some fun (and impressive) stuff, and I will be saving my pennies.

 

we are fabbing up a special intercooler to flow the air needed to finish this project. We have the injectors here sitting ready to go in . I think it will be highly effective when finished
