Drivetrain Project X-300
I didn't have it ready in time. Flex joint on my header had broken from exhaust fitment issues. Jan & I will be getting together as soon as the opportunity presents itself. There was no point in tuning my car until I get that fixed properly.

It should be done soon. I told Jan today that I'm starting to miss my car and am really looking looking forward to spinning it to 8k and making some real HP
. I can't wait to hammer it in the canyon's down the street.Longboard
Still at the shop Chris. Jan is working on some things for the R56 and R53 on top of the Rotrex Kit. The Rotrex Kit is getting finished at the same time as these other project's. I told Jan I am in no rush and to take as much time as possible on this final leg. You also have to remember that Jan has been traveling for the community tuning like made.

there are only so many hands to go around.... turbo back exhausts and new catbacks for the other cars have been the high priority but we expect to get back to work on this soon.

I know it seems like forever but it really is getting finished. There is only one fabricator and his assistant. They stopped work on my car to develop a new exhaust and down pipe for the R56. Then they stopped and used my car to develop the new R53 cat back. They also stopped to develop a new baffled oil pan for the R53. I gave my OK each time the work stopped.
Those projects are finished and they are now back on my car. The brackets for the water pump and SC are going to be laser cut. They have to create blue prints so the production units can be made. They are making models of all the new water lines so the production units can be made as one piece formed lines. The new intercooler looks amazing but again they need to make blue prints to produce production units. It go's on and on with the different items in the kit but in the end doing it this way will insure that once the kit go's on sale the consumer can be sure that all the parts will fit and go together easy. Remember that this is getting designed so the handy do-it yourself-er can install the kit in his garage. This is a good thing that will save a lot of money for those buying the kit.
I'm going up to see the car next week. I will take some pics and give you all a update by the end of the week.

Thanks Longboard
I thought Jan was doing a different oil pickup in talks with him and not an oil pan, which I asked about. Do you know if it's a pan, pickup or both.
Thanks for the info update.
