Yep, Epic twice a year, before winter sets in and then again in mid-to-late Spring when I do the major detailing.

BG every month to six weeks. And yes, I'm a HUGE fan of the BG for the same reasons... no taping needed, easy to apply and take off, and it looks awesome !

Like the others have said, I Epic twice a year, and BG about every 4-6 weeks. Besides BG being so easy to apply, it can be applied down to freezing temps, in the sun or shade.

Some a-hole backed into me and ended up tearing a hole into the clear bra on the front bumper. The hole is about the size of a standard size hole from a hole puncher. There's a few scratches on the paint (where the hole is) and there might even be a dent *crosses fingers that there isn't a dent* but I can't tell for sure until the clear bra is removed. I'm taking it back to the shop that I originally got the bra put on at on Saturday so I'll have them remove it and then assess the damage. I'll post pics tomorrow when it's daylight.

They said that it would cost about $300 to install a new bra on the bumper. Consider this a lesson learned.. parking on a busy street = bad idea.

I am happy that there isn't any major body damage but this still sucks *** big time.

You could clearbra your own bumper for about $130 and a few hours of learning/frustration... I did mine... about 97% perfect, next time I redo it, it will be perfect... and total cost for two times will be less than paying someone else to do it...

I thought about doing it myself at first. Then I remembered that I get frustrated easily.

I'm so good with applying stickers that if I finished installing the clear bra I would discover that I put it on upside down (and on the boot).

Looks like a PDR job...and... it's easy and cheap enough to re-install clearbra over the top of the bumper. I can't imagine that would cost more than about $50.

PDR on the front plastic bumper? I've seen PDR on much larger, more shallower dents..like pushed in from a parking barrier not sure about this though. As for $300 for clearbra reinstall..ever think of just going braless on the bumper? Respraying it should be less than $300 I would think.

yes, OG, PDR's how i fixed the 06 civic sedan rear bumper i had a few years ago. it was hit by a UPS truck backing up at work and it had some pretty deep bends.

you can pin-point where to push the bumper as metal.

Cool - is that how long it took you? Or are you "special"?

minivans are usually a PITA to do... especially the sliding
doors cause you dont get much access points unless you
drill.

drilling a car for ding repair is imho pretty insane but
then again it's done all the time.

i also know that if you drill appraisers will usually see
that and will check off 'it is a pos car' on their check list.

I'm so done with snow. Make it stop please!
So I got the Adam's Undercarriage spray and just tried it on the Pilot. I like it. Left a nice matte finish and was not sticky. Misted it on then wiped it off. Perfect, thanks Paul.

You're welcome.

If you have time, You can also mist it on and leave it to air-dry overnight - also good results and probably leaves a thicker/longer lasting finish... That's what I did.
