Must be winter, quiet here
Sounds good
Attic is insulated, house feels warmer
. I got some to do around the perimeter of the floor joist in the basement, that will help also. Besides some of it being on sale, I had a 10% and 15% card, so it should pay back pretty quick. Although just the fact it is more comfortable is priceless

Ken... no plans for another MINI right now. If we were to get a Clubman, it would replace Roxanne's PW Cooper and she plans to keep it another few years.
And washing your microfiber towels tonight ? Just finished mine. By the way, I'm a bit pissed at Griots. Bought another dozen of their microfiber detailing rags... the ones I use for the door sills, wheels, engine bay, etc. Damn things are half the size they used to be.
They were the perfect size before.

so i followed the wife and kids to the mall today and stopped by to
pickup the cheezo red drawer at sears.
not bad for $80.

pull-out drawer with the lugs.

not many cutting and filing tools...
but top drawer.

pliers in my second drawer...

other lugs and wheel/sus related tools in the 3rd drawer...

bottom drawer... corded drill and rotary tool...

sideview.

my latest SK torx screwdriver set in the middle there...extrators on the
far drawer.

my griot's mobile cart drawer... mostly for interior modding/electrical stuff.

you've seen my other tools... more in the gallery.
(too lazy to post).

ordered mityvac clamp-on auto brake fluid filler kit, will order
griot's brakefluid extrator kit later on, full range of new pliers
probably from garrettewade, more cutting tools so lotise doesnt
have a field day laughing at my drawer
actually, i need moreheavier plastic cutting tools when doing interior work.
and i should order a griot's car cover for the MCS so that blimey
can make fun of his own car breed.
lol

They were the perfect size before.i see. be kinda funny if you had 4 MINI's all in different
colors different trim, different flavors.

yah, the towels are done and hanging now. i only got a
chance to motor my MCS twice this week so i didnt have too
many towels, but my FitS's stereo bezel (i recently installed a
JVC Arsenal HU using a crutchfield recommended metra bezel)
was buzzing today so decided to just redo the install using
heavier duty clips and some felt insulation. i think i cured it.

while doing so, i left some finger prints on the dash and console
so Nero'ed and...why not, clarity the glass while it's in the garage.

yah, MCS was waiting outside in the cold for 2hrs.

huh, sorry to hear about griot's new rag towels. im still using the
old cotton shop towels (for my tools and hands, that is) and haven't
tried the MF rags yet..
ahh, snowing in parts of the area 30% = motoring in my FitS while
MCS continues to sleep for the next opening.
wanted to test my stereo bezel re-install anyways on the FitS, so
it's ok.
car is pretty fun to drive anyway. takes turns at
unbelivable speeds on junk falken 912 tires.
lol
i think im going to QD my MCS when i get back since i only dusted
him last week.

I'm going to spend some time doing yard work this morning, then bathe the MINIs this afternoon, supposed to be 50F and sunny later
May Banana Gas them if I have time. Looks like mid 40's all week and dry.

Washed CR and PW this morning. 43 degrees with 20 mph winds gusting to 35 mph. It was brutal out there.
But with the rain we had for three straight days, they needed it ! And now appears we'll have 8 or 9 days of dry and cool weather so they'll stay clean for a while. YAY !!!!!!!!

ended up it wasn't looking like it was going to snow afterall, so pulled
out my MCS for a nice 2hr drive.
gassed him up too along
the way.
came home, took my FitS out for its test drive for the buzzing bezel
fix and came home with an A+.
no more buzzing.
QD'ed my MCS. i forgot to QD my arches (just recently BW'ed) so
going to do that later on.

yah, yard work sucks. i hate it. my pops had me do too much when
i was younger and i dreaded each time he'd ask me to do the lawn.
thus i HATE doing yardwork.
btw, the carcover is awesome. in the winter time with the unzipped
jackets, gloves, etc. i dont have to worry about coming in contact
with the G's paint.
ofcourse i can't sit on the car
, but
i dont have to be **** when im dragging boxes or brooming in close
proximity.
