No. After 55k miles, I just got new pads. *That* worked.

Well I'm going to believe you since I have 36K and no decrease in dust. Guess I'm going to have to go for some new pads. Has it made a big difference ML? Which brand did you end up going with?

Yes, a HUGE difference, it's sort of amazing, actually, that one pad can dust so much and another not really at all. I ended up getting the Carbotech Bobcat pads.

Maybe I could put on a wing and keep my wheels cleaner.

lol hahaha!

i donno. my brembo's dust even more than the MCS's brakes and i just
keep wiping the wheels down. there's really nothing wrong with the
braking power so didnt want to waste the pads just because i need to
put a tad more effort in wiping them down and using more towels.

Bobcats FTW. You can literally drive for a week and not see any dust. It's there- if you wipe with your finger it leaves a mark with even *less* dust... but it's SOOOO much lighter in color and quantity than the OEM dust, it's practically nonexistent.

I got my top treated over the weekend. A good scrub down with Fabric Cleaner and then two rounds of 303 Fabric Guard brushed on the Blimey way. Sun was very hot on the canvas so I expect this treatment to last the winter. Added some BG to the paint and we're good to go.
None too soon. Rain today and snow by Wednesday.

Well... stop posting in the summer thread and see what happens.

I'll be putting my winter wheels/tires on this weekend...

I need to check my tires. I bet they're way off. And Clara needs a bath. But we can't seem to go more than 4 or 5 days without rain...

the griot's tire pressure gauge is great.

the valve on the guage is so easy to use. just push into the tire's
valve. no tricks. barely any leak while measuring.

Nice...I have a teeny lil digital one I keep in the glovebox, it's like the size of a pen. Works well but when the batteries are dead, it's all over and I'll be looking for a new one

Mine just screwed up today... the clamp is broken, one side of the spring came loose somehow, so it doesn't open and close straight anymore... Gotta remember whether I got it direct from Griots or somebody else... and see if I can get a replacement...

outmotoring sells just the gauge if you want to save like $10 vs griots.
