I'm going to a hockey game tomorrow night (Avs/Boston).
Weekend forecast - snow!
Yep, summer is but a faint and ever receding memory.
I think at the end of the month I will swap out the Cooper Zeon ZPTs for the Blizzaks. It always feels funny driving on the snow tires for the first couple of days.

We have enough of that down here already. But if you could box up an icechest of clean snow and send it down that would make for great fun.

70 degrees right now, will be up to 80. Planting my fall veg garden this week.

Trying to give Bernard a weekly wash... This is a a real change for me as I think that over the past 20 years, I may have actually washed cars 20 times by hand. Now I'm so OCD that it is a bit worrisome, I think I'm hanging out here so I feel normal.

Only partially contaminated! We eat the kind from the crawfish farms (not ditches). I think we build up a tolerance!

Now if you want a real treat there are the crawfish pies from Tony's which are better than mine and I hate to admit that! Tony's also will ship not only their frozen pies etc but fresh seafood overnight. I feel a hankering for boudin *****, crabmeat au gratin and gumbo for dinner!

Is that some kind of clawfish with a Japanese accent?

We have 6 species of salmon up here, not counting that lice-infested fish farm Atlantic species.

Dood, you need to take a trip to the Gulf Coast. At any local picnic, this is what the table looks like at feeding time:

I was thinking of getting this thread up and running again, just not feeling like winter here yet with temps still hitting 80F, cool nights though.

Starting the full fall/winter detailing of both MINIs this week. Went out and bought some new lights on stands so I can see in the dark.

Mark - my kids bought me a dual halogen light stand from Sears and I love it. Most of the light in my garage is near the front so by the time I get to the back of the car I'm working in the dark. Not any more. Plus it has the added benefit of throwing off a lot of heat. Good for the frosty nights of polishing.
I did just pick-up a ceramic heater off of Woot yesterday for $35 so maybe I will not totally freeze this winter.

It may not get cold in CA, but winter my friend <not intending to sound like McCain> happens all around the world.

I had to turn on the furnace today. Don't talk to me like CA doesn't have winter!

High of 83 today and lovely cool nights in the 60's.

I've been trying to wash Bernard the Clubman everyweek, but honestly it looks so good that I may skip this weekend. I'm not driving everyday and the Epic from a few weeks ago followed by a couple of washes with Hydro has the dust not sticking!

Instead I "detailed" the German Shepherd this afternoon out in my side yard. No didn't use Mystique.... Buddy Wash Lavender and Mint Shamppo and Conditioner.

Rain and lower 50s here. Time for some indoor activities.
You could always Epic the dog's nails and at least Nourish his collar if its leather.

It's beautiful here today, low 80's. The Cabrio is getting the full deal today, wash, clay, Amigo, Epic.

It's really windy here in the bay area today.
My husband went out on a boat to see the Blue Angels.
I declined to go with. Windy, cold and choppy water with
potential seasickness aren't really up my alley.
Skies are nice and clear for the Blue Angels though

I need to treat my canvas once more before they start putting down mag chloride. Not this weekend though - too crappy and not warm enough. I hoping for at least one more warm weekend day with bright sun.
I've seen the Blue Angles a couple of times. Very impressive and never gets old.

Got the Cabrio, washed, clayed, then spent a few hours working with Amigo on the whole car, and Swirl in a few areas. Then a coat of Epic. Going to put another coat on today.

We are having some friends over later today to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving, which is tomorrow, but for some reason work won't give me the day off Cooking the bird on the new grill

Frosty this morning but sunny. I hope to get a wash in this evening. My wheels are atrocious - will there never be an end of this OEM brake dust?
