Must be winter, quiet here
lol!
actually it stopped snowing so i was back out on the driveway and
adjusted the aim on my car. took a test drive, adjusted some more,
ran a few backroad tests. walla!
i hate redline goods. that guy over there is an idiot. he sent me a boot
1" too short and after i put everything back to my momo boot he claims
that i'd need to put everything back together again and send him a picture
demonstrating that the boot was too short in order to give me a refund.
a-hole.

Good product when it's done right. Pretty **** poor customer service skills. He needs a customer service rep that is paid by the hour and is more objective.
Yeah, he f'd up one of my orders, too. Wasn't the boot we ordered and when I complained, said I didn't order it right. Took me about a dozen e-mails to convince him that I put the complete description in the remark block on the order form on his website. Then came the battle over how much of MY money I was going to get back for HIS mistake. Took weeks to get it straightened out.

pos boot his friends made thinking some day i might be able to use it
on another car.
the crap i have to pay for a shitty product andservice, i tell ya.
plus, on his literature i think he said something about falsifying customs
documents cause documenting "real leather" costs more or something
so he puts on synthetic leather or something or another.

anyway, each time i hear redlinegoods, it brings back bad memories.
but for $50 or watever, wat the hell was i expecting, right?
I know we have have fun on this thread, that was the point of starting it, but can we not bash things here, no matter what the product is or where it comes from. This thread is my haven , just a place to yak. Leave the whining to other threads

He didn't wrong me on 4 of 5 boots, either. I guess if I could've batted .800 in high school, I would've received a scholarship. So maybe I should be happy with Maciek !
You heard them, ken, let's take our bitchin and complainin elsewhere !

When they purchased the salt for the season they did not plan for this much snow. As of the 5th they had used 5300 tons on 120 miles of road. This also does not cover the major roadways which are done by the state or county. They are waiting on more, but the barge is stuck in the ice on the Mississippi River.
Grand Avenue has to be one of the worst roads in the state. The snow gets packed and you end up with snow potholes over top of the already gaping potholes. I actually ended up with a flat driving on it yesterday.
Are they going to make room for a spare on the new cabrio? Waited 2 hours for a tow.yesterday.

All the snow and ice and salt and crud makes me glad I'm driving a loaner car this week.
Does anyone else get constantly barraged with questions of 'How does your car (Mini) drive in the snow?'? It drives like most any other car, sheesh.
I got stuck behind some dolt in an old Suburban the other day who was having fun flooring it at every stop light (w/ snow and ice on the road) and spinning his tires and fishtailing all over the road.
They didn't even put a spare on the Clubman S, and it definitely looks like they could have. I think BMW/MINI have swallowed the run flat Kool-Aid.
