Must be winter, quiet here
I bought mine on sale from AutoBarn I think.
FWIW... all these gauges are exactly the same - the Accutire Racing Gauge. And they all have a 5 year warranty from the manufacturer, Measurement Ltd.

Their website says if your gauge has a problem, just mail it to them and they'll fix it or replace... NICE. I'm going to send them mine this week.

blimey- that sounds good, keep us posted on their response.
the hose comes off with a twist so im sure they'll just give you a
new hose with the valve clamp.
ML- if those work for you im sure they work fine. for most people
that only check their psi every now and then 0.5psi increments is
fine, i think. the ones we're talking about can measure down to 0.1psi
and it is very consistent. i can remeasure the tire like a week after and
get the same reading (when the garage temp is the same, that is). best
part is the valve though. there's no tricks to getting a leak-free fit onto
your tire's valve stem.

Yep - it's a nice gauge. The clamp (when not broken) is nice, the accuracy is nice, and the bleed-down button is FANTASTIC... So I can overfill them a bit, then get down to the perfect pressure very easily without the trial and error approach of plain gauges.
where the heck did my post go?
anyway...
i posted earlier (or i thought i did) that with the pen type gauges you
can partially push the gauge in to bleed the valve, but you're right,
the bleed valve is sooooooo much nicer to have on these gauges.
actually OG was the one to recommend it to me earlier this year(?).

One of my umpteen crappy gauges...
I replaced my Blue Alta intake hose with a Black Alta intake hose today... and ordered a custom valve cover plate domed decal from Aesthetic Creations (first one he's ever made)... and some adhesive neoprene to fill the open space in my bonnet where my intercooler scoop used to be. Need to re-paint my strut brace to match my other red stuff, and my engine bay makeover is nearly complete...
And I ordered the Craven Garmin mount that attaches to my tach... because one of my buddies has it and and like the position of it better than my custom mount.

The turbo heat shield is in it's way from WayMotorWorks. Looks like a fairly easy install. Yeah, our Clubman has the dreaded scope melt
. Dealer has the replacement, and they got the multi-function steering wheel, but it was damaged
, so waiting for the replacement.

this morning. also found that some frikken animal was going through
our trash last night.
had to re-bag the mess.
wonder why it didnt go deeply into the bag with all the used diapers
for the big surprise.
haha

Removing Bananas would be easy, it would also be easy/cheap for MINI to figure out that their heat shield is only good for frying eggs and bacon on. But no, corporate lets the Service Advisers take the heat(sorry for the pun) while they, in their bean counter, number crunching way, figure it is cheaper

to replace scopes, than to install a proper shield
.
Oh well, I don't mind sending money to Waylan, he does great work, and has good stuff
. But if his is worth $175, the same thing from the factory would be worth next to nothing

You're welcome

Raining here today and tomorrow... so no wash tomorrow, but I'll install my new Craven GPS mount, and my self-adhesive neoprene under the bonnet where the bonnet scoop used to be, and put my bobcat pads and winter wheels back on, and clean and wax my summer wheels, and might try to roll out a little ding in my rear panel, and remove my chrono pack face to send off to have a custom one made, and maybe detail the interior and maybe repaint my strut brace. But, other than that, nothing much going on.
Hopefully will get my long-delayed fall polish and wax done soon...

I have to thank you for mentioning this mount. I've posted in a couple of other threads for ways to suction cup my Tom Tom to the speedo. No luck with that. I looked it up the craven mount and saw that it was Garmin only. I emailed them and they are going to come out with a mount for the Tom Tom!
Thanks again Blimey!
