Spotted a nice Laser Blue/White with white bonnet stripes this morning. It could really use some UJ mirror caps though.
I have a feeling it'll get those mirror caps pretty soon because the MINI belongs to MiniPol and we discussed it while waiting at the service dept of MoT.

I saw a DS Cooper S today in Gaithersburg off of 355. No stripes. I was turning right onto the road that you were on while you were stopped at the light behind/beside me. I waved, but i dont think you saw me.

anyways- just got back from aruba last night--they had absolutly no MINI's down there! what a shame...they had every other tiny car imaginable- but no MINI's...

Too many MINIs to count - or tag - in Georgetown between Friday night and Sunday morning. They are all over the place. All colors. All combos. All kinds of graphics. All kinds of vanity plates. Where did you all come from?

I just caught a glimpse of a Solid Gold MINI with a black roof, heading into Westminster on 140. I waved, but it was a pretty long shot that you could have seen me, since my wave was through two lanes of traffic and a grassy median.
Jen, I know what you mean. I've been seeing a huge increase increase in MINIs around here over the past few months. I'm getting a pretty good wave return ratio too.
In fact, I passed a PS/B yesterday on Bollinger Road, just off Old Westminster Pike. I waved and got flashed back.
And while I'm yapping, I've been stopped four times in the past three days by people asking what kind of gas mileage my MINI gets. I think gas prices are starting to get to people.

I GOT MY FIRST WAVE TODAY!!! It only took nearly a month!
PW/B (MC or MCS?) driving west on 28 near 355 interesection. I was at a light turning left onto Monroe St as you passed and WAVED! Only one in car, male driver, if that helps.

Why am I never seen???? I see Mini's everywhere, including some described in this thread. Yet, nobody sees me. That has been a life-long problem, even before I had a Mini. I'm the insivible man. (Sorry, just practicing for my appointment with the therapist this evening).

I have noticed a definite increase in the number of MINIs I've been seeing. Funny though, I tend to notice the MINIs on 95 in MD going in the opposite direction of me then the ones, sometimes, infront/to the side/in back of me. Just Mon morning of this week I was stuck in traffic on 95 South and had a BRG cabrio right next to me and could have waved if I was paying attention, not like we were moving all that fast...or moving at all for the most part. I was too absorbed with not hitting the car in front of me and praying to the traffic gods me out of there!
When Dale and I were commuting together it was way easier to spot other MINIs and wave, because he would spot them, I would get us there, roll down the window and he could wave while I focused on the road. Now as an individual it's way harder to spot, drive, wave, get the attention, wave again, don't crash...anyway you get the picture. Or we see MINIs all the time when we are in the Murano, but it's silly to wave then because MINI drivers just look at you like your weird or stalking them.
Maybe you're driving too fast and by the time we wave you are gone...
