"The block" is directly next to it. its a lovely smorgasbord of strip clubs and adult stores. (for an example, we are directly next to the Hustler club.

Its normal for the men in the company to leave the holiday parties to go next door for some entertainment...

The next time you are in Southern MD, give me a call, 3017174293 and I will buy the coffee at our Starbucks. I have found it quite difficult to meet up with MINI drivers down here. I have been able to meet with 2 other MINI drivers from the base, but there are like a gazillion MINI drivers down here and very few wave. I have done quite an exhaustive study since becoming a MINI driver and have come to the conclusion that there are 2 categories of MINI drivers; those that own a cute, little care that gets good gas mileage and those that are MINI drivers and are 1 or 2 cans shy of a full six-pack. You can come to your own conclusion as to which group I belong.
Finally saw a live Clubman today. It was parked at the Navy FCU and I tagged it. I have tagged all the MINIs in the county and have only received 3 comebacks. At least the others could have sent me an e-mail and said not to leave cards on their cars.
That is my $0.02.

Spied a Yellow (not like Barbarella though) with black bonnies this morning on Greenspring Ave. by Chestnut Ridge VFD... gave an enthusiastic wave and got one back ! I then gave a big and and big ! THANKS from the laser blue with white bonnies going the other way!

 

Hmm, if the car was a lighter yellow then it was a Liquid Yellow I think. Barbarella's color is Mellow Yellow...the one true yellow.

We spotted an all blue MINI at the Safeway in Germantown on Saturday morning. Not sure of the color...almost royal blue. Never saw that color before. Nice car but they left before we could tag them.

Tagged a blue and white MCS with white bonnet stripes at the Belle Haven Marina, today. I was taking lessons. Did you belong to one of the instructors?

 

Tagged and parked next to a PWMC (2005 or 2006) today in Old Town. My usual parking lot. You got the car at Carmax. You were already there when I parked at 8:45 am and still there when I got back around 12:45 pm. MD plates.

 

Spotted a red cabrio with boonet stripes on 66 ease and a black mc on the same streach... Was it you????????

 

I got a wave from a silver/black MINI today on my way home. She was turning right onto Kalorama from 18th and I was turning left. She had Maryland tags. I'm pretty sure I got a wave from this person before - it was one of my first, near Howard University. The driver and the MINI looked very familiar.

 

saw a mini in a parking lot today and got a metal sign from the passenger, and a nice wave from the driver. i walked over to ask if they were in the club and it turns out i tagged them last saturday. she seemed really excited about the club and i expect that she will join. told her about the upcoming runs so maybe she will show up.

 

Got a wave from the from a red and black MSC on route 7 this afternoon,

and one from a really nice look yellow and black with bonnet and boot stripes running with their front and back fog lights on..

PS, I am thinking of joining and trying to come to the run tomorrow, what should I bring?

Passed four MINIs yesterday on Waxpool road....Mom and I waved, not sure we got a wave back

Got passed by Bill in WOLFTOY about 30 minutes later !

What a MINI weekend it was !

 

I passed a MCS DS/White Convertible on 495N (i think, maybe it was 270N) yesterday. It had a 'justacooper' front chrome grill instead of the black S grill. Only guy driver, no passengers... and no wave =( Even after i quick honked at him.

 

Almost had three MINIs side by side by side on 270N Sunday afternoon. I was in the middle lane and a silver MINI with Oregon tags, MINI CO, pulled behind me and proceeded to zip past me at about 90mph. A few seconds later I passed a Royal Grey justacooper in the right lane.

No waves from either.
