Was It You?¿?¿?
Yep, I'm one of those don't drive in the snow types, just hate the stuff, I avoid salty roads for the days following snow too.
Thanks to the young lady in the black MCS on Rt3 yesterday, I merged in from Science Drive to head over to 450.
Cheers,
Mike

Saw two MINIs making their way with us up 395N this morning -- one silver with license plate "H3Z GONE"
, and another that was my very first sighting of an OB/W in the wild (nice viper stripes!). Couldn't catch anyone's eye to wave...
I saw two MINI's last night. Unfortunately, I don't know anything beyond that about them; it was too dark to see the colors.
One was sitting in interminable traffic on Rt 32 (courtesy of a two-car accident), and the other was leaving the Martin's grocery store - both were in Eldersburg.
I drove mine for the first time in the snow on Wednesday. Needless to say, it got a little messy. A car wash was in order, even if it was 24 degrees! Then I drove it again and, predictably, it's dirty again. Now it's 20 degrees outside.
Should I wash it?
Edit: I just got back from a quick trip to the Eldersburg library where I bumped into (not literally
) CR&PW&JB's Pepper White Cooper. Love the checkerboard!

Dark Colored MINI heading N on Rte. 2 around 3:30/4-ish in Harwood MD (towards Annapolis) Looked a lot like Wensleydale and Mike, however, light was sort of poor, so I didn't catch a color. Could have been Astro Black, Jet Black, or even Space Blue. Got a wave and Gave a wave (however my hand may have been hidden by the pillar) I was in a DS/B MCS...
Noticed you last minute, so I wasn't paying enough attention to get a Lic. plate#, nor did I clearly see exactly what color of Mini you had. It looked really nice though, The vinyl around the scoop was pretty nifty.

Jen - that was me.
Jen - I was wondering who left the card on Starbuck that day at the Foundry.
I have two clients across the street at 1101 30th. I occasionally park at the Foundry building (like 4 times a month).
Were you at the meeting on the 15th at MoS? I finally made my first DCMM meeting and had a great time.
Starbuck can be seen traveling anywhere from Rockville (Old Georgetown Rd), Tysons Corner, Bowie/Crofton/Davidsonville, OT Alexandria, Manassas, Dale City, to Georgetown and NW Washington.
Starbuck - 2006 MCS JCW: Engine & Suspension, M7: STB & brake rotors, Alta v2 diverter, Mini-Madness: JCW A/F, poly rear suspension mounts.

Picture of Starbuck
I took this yesterday when Starbuck was getting her 4 wheel alignment. I got to help the guys at Autotecnica (in Manassas, VA) with this. Fun.
I just tried to add the photo as an attachment. Hmmn.

While on my way to Asheville, drove in an impromptu teeny-Mini caravan down I-26 East with BRG, NC plates, "actualsize" (or something spelled similar), you got off the exit or two before me, but kept me driving happy until I got there (it had been a really really long drive up to that point).
Thanks!
Thanks!
Parked next to a Blue JCW @ Bradley Shopping Center on King St. I didn't know you were the owner as I looked back and saw someone walking towards the adjacent Z3. Otherwise I would have stopped and talked to ya!
This morning at 9:01 or 9:02 am, as I was getting on HOV lane on I-395 just after Edsall Road, a gold* MC passed me. I was a couple of cars behind it, and tried to pull up even with it, but traffic didn't allow it. The gold MC pulled off to Route 27 as I continued my commute to Crystal City. Was this color ever produced by MINI, or is it aftermarket paint?
* Well, ok, maybe not true gold, but the color wasn't the bright mellow yellow, just a softer yellow with a touch of orange thrown in, if that make sense--it's quite similar to my gold bonnet stripes. Again, was this color ever a MINI paint, or could it be aftermarket paint?\

That was my SO driving and she said she saw a young guy in a "green" MINI and he smiled and waved. Must've been you. The MINI coming out of Martins' in Eldersburg may have been us too, that's where we always do our shopping.
