I saw a very nice looking Yellow (sorry folks, not exactly sure what yellow it was) R53 exiting the mall in Glen Burnie this evening (9:00-ish) Didn't catch your plate, but you gave a very enthusiastic rev... I enjoyed that!

Saw a nice looking BRG on Padonia at York Road in Baltimore County this morning about 9:30ish (?)... gave a wave and a smile and got one back ! Thanks for letting me in my Laser Blue MCS make that turn !

 

Saw a Red Mini cooper a while ago in georgetown....lic plate i belive was "TOMATE" not sure....i wanted to see your rims...did'nt get chance....i think they were matching body paint....it was around 7ish pm

 

Tagged a Blue MCS, PA plates, in a parking lot off Patrick Street in Alexandria this AM. Saw a yellow MCS with roof rack leaving Mishas earlier in the day.

 

Saw a Silver MINI with a black roof on Piedmont Road in the Clarksburg/Germantown area on Saturday. Not only got enthusiastic waves but we got flashing headlights and all!

Played leapfrog with a MY/B Cooper on 95 going south from Baltimore. Waved and got one back as I exited at Rt 100.

 

White MINI convert northbound on GW parkway near Collington today at 4:45pm. I was the red southbound. My top down, yours up! At 68 degrees!

I'll assume you're getting over a cold, flu, etc. or had a senior or wee kiddee in the car with you that I didn't see and were hence under the 10% of the 90/10 rule. I mean, it has to be something like that.

 

hey yall- i picked my sister up at school (Oakton HS in Vienna) today (she was sick) and there was a happy red (second gen) mini in the staff parking lot- it had vanity plates that have escaped my tired brain right now... beetled or bubled or somthin (its been a long day)
there was also a nice night fire red mini in the student spaces in front of the school. Kate says she knows who that one belongs too- but i was wondering who the teach is with the mini- is it anyone i know?

edit: i remember the plate now- Beadle - sound familiar to anyone?

hello to the indie blue and black i saw this morning on bradock rd - thanks for the wave, it made my day... first N.VA wave ive had in about 2 months.

 

Monday afternoon, spotted MCS CR/W with 2 bonnet fog lamps, zoomed off 370 ramp from 270.

I was in front of you going straight on 270. Nice looking MINI indeed, even seeing from a far.

 

Spotted 2 MINIs of particular note in the service bays at MINI of Sterling on Wednesday night:

1 was Mr EZ's (when did you get the JCW wing?)
the other, I don't know whose it was, but it was very nice - 2006 JCW MCSC, Hot Orange, with the aero kit and all sorts of OEM additions (including the JCW illuminated sills, like I have!). Very much "done up", and in some ways seems the counterpart to Mr. OEM (convertible vs hardtop). Not sure if the owner is a DCMM member, but I wished I'd had my DCMM cards with me - I would have tagged it for sure!

Also spotted what I thought was a gold convertible... did my eyes deceive me?

 

Saw MAXICPR today NB route 29 in Silver Spring. I waved, but your head was turned (I have to admit I was on the phone when you first pulled up beside me). I did do a fog light wink , but I don't think you saw. Followed you all the way until you took the exit in Columbia (could never catch up b/c you drive too fast).

A lady in a canary yellow (although I haven't researched their color names) smart crossed Russel road in front of me this morning and I almost waved out of reflex. She was on her cell phone and the poor thing was driving up a steep grade, so maybe it was better I left her alone.

 

I've given the smarts a ....."smart" thumbs up

 

I think we should wave frantically and point at something behind them, as though an 18-wheeler had just lost its brakes.
