I usually see at least 3 or 4 every time I go anywhere, and there's at least a dozen that live in a two block radius of me. I always wave and lately, I've been getting a lot of waves back. I think it was Friday I got waves from 2 out of the 3, and they were all in DC.

 

I've been waving madly at people for a week, have yet to get a reply.

 

There was a comment at one time about MINI owners buying "Pre owned" cars never getting the MINI treatment from the dealer so they don't know anything about "The family" I'll bet that holds quite a bit of water.......

i saw a pepper white r53 today in clinton, md. it was in front of the Panda Express. i got there around 1 and left around 1:30. it was there before and after I left.

also saw a yellow one (it was dark and i couldnt see what model it was) pulling out of Fox Run (a shopping center in prince frederick, md) late last night (Monday). i think it was last night anyway.

ive been seeing more and more MINI's out there and its like they dont even realize your right next to them

 

i know. its frustrating, but dont give up. its our job to convert them from mini drivers to miniacs.

I actually bought my "BoBo" preowned and was treated quite well. The previous owner left all of the "goodies" in the car and I received my own box of "goodies" in the mail from MINI. Besides not being able to order BoBo to my specifics, I don't think I missed out on anything. I wave and smile to other MINIs all the time. Some wave back and others look clueless.

Continue to wave.....maybe we can wear them down.

 

Just seen a nice R53 CR/W MCS outside where I work in Falls Chruch, VA.

VA Plate read "WWOOOF" and was very 'doggyfied' (i.e paw prints etc).

Anyone's here?

stopped next to another laser blue in huntingtown, md last night around 9-9:30. next to the bowling alley. the only other laser blue ive seen on the road. i honked, waved, and he waved back. my first successful wave.

 

Black MINI waiting at red light to come out of Potomac Yard on to Rt1 north. I waved. You scowled with a 'if looks could kill' kinda hate. Hope your day improves. I wiped most of the venom off the passenger side of my car when I got to work.

Saw a CR MCS with roof racks parked on Rt 9 in Hillsboro VA last saturday. I think I've seen that Cooper there a few times as I pass through...

 

ouch...lol!!! I've been too shy to wave at anyone yet...being as it is the DC area I assume I'll get one of those looks where they think I'm a crazy person or just scowl.

I also noticed I drive a bit faster than some of the other Minis I've seen so far...so not much chance to get their attention as I'm passing by them!

 

It was probably a PT Cruiser owner who was given a Mini as a loaner by their dealer. Well, my Mini dealer gives me PT Cruisers, so, maybe they have an arrangement).
