Got a wave and a smile from an early model CR/W MINI cooper on Rt 28 this morning. I have passed this MINI once before during my commute and finally got a chance to wave

 

This morning around 10AM, Caught up to MR. EZ on Braddock, we motored up 395 towards DC

 

Olga spotted Ocius's twin motoring around in old Ashburn this afternoon. Didn't get a chance to wave though.

 

Saw a nicely modded 02-04 CR/W MCS on old Rt. 450 Bowie yesterday around 6pm.

 

Now that I finally got my vanity plates, someone may notice me. The pic came out with a very natural and timely special effect in my gallery.

 

I bought my '04 used from him

He bought the exact same color combo in an '05 (IIRC) because he wanted nav.

That would be me. I was on my way home from Melvin Motors after the wife picked up her new to us '06 Chevy HHR.

 

Got an unprompted "drive along" and thumbs up this morning from a fairly new black Mustang... while I was in my old Mustang (1995 anyway). LOL... OK it may not have been a MINI thing, but it still felt pretty cool to have someone share some friendliness based soley upon my car.

 

Great! First time I spotted someone and they commented here .

Anyone else on this board live in the Ashburn/Sterling/Leesburg area? We live in Ashburn and spotted three Mini's in a row while cruising around on Ashburn Farm Pkwy this afternoon. Got a wave from the third blue R56. Looks just like Ocius but with the windows tinted. If anyone here feels can't make it to the usual meets but feels like grabbing a cup of joe with us in the Ashburn/Sterling/Leesburg area, let us know! We'd be glad to meet ya!

Friday afternoon 'bout 4:00 passed MrLepew (Great plate), PW/B on Suitland Parkway. Gave a thumbs up got a "V" in response. Was looking forward to some fun on Rt4 but you turned off on Forest Drive.

 

RT 32 west bound in columbia, rignt before RT 29 @ a little before noon today.

Spot a shiny MCS CR/B with black and white outline bonnet stripes. Super clean MINI you have.
We both waved.

Nice ride indeed.

Downtown near the Convention Center - I waved at you like a mentally challenged adult (wait I am) - you gave me a look like I was crazy (wait I am) :-) .

I was walking near the Farragut North Metro around 4:30 Friday (?). Saw a guy in a blue MINI and gave him "the point." Got a big smile and a nod.

Saw a Royal Grey, at the Columbia Mall Sunday.... Even had a mini sunshade.... thinkin it was maxicopper, today there was a 1st gen Mellow Yellow Cooper w/ white roof, in the hickory ridge parking lot (on the subway side), you parked right across from me

 

LY/LY R50 "Mini Sun" southbound Georgetown Parkway just under the Key Bridge, gave the wave as I continued on Southbound just before 6PM yesterday (Tuesday Aug 8). Hadn't seen a full liquid yellow till then, nice.

 

saw an AB/AB JCW in the Outback parking lot last night at around 8pm. License plate said "06JCW"
