Was It You?¿?¿?
It was on 8/25 around that time so it probably was you, I posted it on here because I saw a DCMM sticker so I knew it wasn't just a random MINI waving. I was in an AB Cooper with an MTTS and DCMM sticker. Thanks for waving!
I'm sure I might see you around town again. I noticed you live in Del Ray, I live just up the road at Mt. Vernon and S. Glebe.

So, yeah, I'm in Del Ray. I think we've actually waved to each other on Mt Vernon before. . .me heading the direction of Monroe St, you heading toward Glebe. There are definitely a lot of Minis here. But there are also a lot of folks who don't get the waving thing.
Oh well, I'll keep at it and look forward to seeing you around.
At the Marriotsville shopping center... I was showing the owner of a frame shop my MINI (his 13 year old son who plays lacrosse had already expressed interest in getting a MINI).... then Sherwins twin drove by... It was a checkmate MINI from Delaware, driven by an Indian guy....I thought it was Sherwin at first! He asked ,"where do you all meet?" I didnt have any cards on me, but I told him the websites to look at. Hopefully he will check out the club soon
Where did Dan or I say anything about cameras?
The Smart Tag / EZ-Pass system very easily allows them to track the average speed driving between toll booths. Whether they choose to use that information as the basis for speeding is the curious question I was trying to raise.

EZ - Pass speeding tickets have to do with speeding through the toll booth itself not a measurement between booths. Not many people would have ez-pass if it that were the case. But in hearing this from someone else, i researched it and the only tickets are for speeding through the booths.
Whether or not Dan's worker got an EZ-Pass ticket or was pulled over by the police on the toll road itself is something different.
DS MCS with JCW wheels and lic plate :coupdup going down H street over the bridge by union station..
sharp car, thanks for the wave!
Anyone here own any of the Minis at AIR parking garage? (1025,1000 Thomas Jefferson St near waterfront?)

CR/W R56 MCS 'Bludy L' outbound 66 before the Glebe Rd entrance this morning at 8AM or so, waved to yah ... didn't catch the reply ... sorry. I do believe this was BludyL from the DCMMers. Go day to you sir.
Actl Sze? I waved back, but as you were passing, then tried to catch up. Stupid slow going vehicles on 66 West bound...
BludyL, Yeah I tried waiting up (at the merge) but then saw an oppurtunity to merge with your lane in front of you and ... traffic anxiety got the better of me. There must have been somebody barging lanes, because post the slowdown I never saw you again.
Sorry for not acknowledging the wave back, much appreciated even if I didn't see it.

Woo...Hoo....
Today I Spot, actually, parked side by side next to MCS DS/DS and MCSc CR/B. We were all parking right in front of the club house at Timber of Troy GC in Columbia, this morning.
Well represent, MINI rules.

Spotted a GP in for service at Tate Tuesday when I was picking up my metal tags. Had the number on the windshield.
My brother spotted a mini w/ a bunch of stickers in their rear window, including an Actual Size one, the other day. He was in his white e30 BMW w/ a Pirate euro plate.

Spotted on the Dulles Toll Road west the other morning: Mini with "TOI BAYO" (Toy Bear in child-speak?) plates.

Saw a slick looking Blue/Blue (possibly Indi Blue?) MCS at Dulles yesterday, plate MR EZ with lots of decals on the back.
And by "saw" I mean:
1. We both pulled into the United drop off area to drop off our passenger
2. We were both informed by our respective passengers that we would be coming in as well, or so it would seem as we both circled around and pulled into the short term parking at the same time.
3. We saw each other in the airport, he was sitting with his passenger, I was walking with mine.
4. We both were pulling out of the lot at the same time, but I had to wait in the longer line to pay cash.
Random, but fun! Are you here on the boards?

Was passed by one of Wensleydale's close relatives last night on 495 near Rt 1 college park, MCS SpaceBlue/Silver Checkmate, vanity tag said "3" and something in letters, couldn't catch the rest

Saw 2 MINIs turning from Van Dorn Street (south-bound) to Braddock Road (west-bound). First was LB/W, driven by a gentleman. Right behind him was PW/B, driven by a young lady. Tried to give them a thumb-up as I wait to turn left from Braddock Road (west-bound) to Van Dorn St (north-bound), but they didn't even glance my way. But then I was in my dark green Saturn coupe.... It was just remarkable to see 2 MINIs together, as it's hard enough to see more than 1 or 2 a day.
This was at about 1:05 pm this afternoon...

Laser blue / white with white bonnet stripes and 3 passengers driving south on Watt Avenue in Sacramento at about 10:30am today. I was in front and could see you a good 100 yards behind...I waved, but couldn't tell if you waved back...
Good looking Mini you have there.
