I saw a PW/B? MCS from MoS on 270 going towards Germantown comming from Katie's tonight. I waved, but no response. It was a guy driving I believe, but I couldn't really see inside. They tried to race me a wii bit, but they had to exit and the traffic was bad.

 

I spot a BRG/S JCW in front of Panera's Bread, Dubbin rd, Columbia.
An awesome car it is.
Also I spot Paul and Sally in the Panera's as well.

I was on the Dulles Toll Road Friday heading towards DC and waved at a woman in a CR S Convt. I think the license plate was "D MINI S"

 

Saw the Gumball BRG MINI today at the NOPI MIR drags.. can't remember who owns it but I remembered it from the MoS breakfast a coupla months ago..

Didn't see too many other MINI's there until the end! 3 classics and a MINI pulled out right as we were leaving (from the spectator lot)~!

(defylogix had his MINI there too but we weren't Gumball so we didn't get to park inside =P)

 

Last week, Penny met a new H.O. MINI: Decker! They have SO much in common! He's a bit more 'hip' than she is, what with the On-Board Navigation System, and Premium/Sport/Cold Weather AND Convenience Packages, but she likes him all the same!

They met at a neutral spot - a Chevy dealership - so they could break the ice. It was love at first sight! They decided to continue on with the date, drove off the lot together, and went to Bennigan's for a light meal and witty conversation. They managed to find another MINI to park near (see attached photo) and truly enjoyed their first evening out together! What a match!

Needless to say, I think there will be many MINI cruises in their near future! Look for the Hot Orange convoy between WV, VA, DC and/or MD and when you see them, be sure to wave to Penny and Decker!

(Btw - The PW MCS got a NAM spotter card and, I'm sure, was quite shocked to find his/her MINI surrounded by all that orange! )

 

PW MCS VA plates with a Triathlete sticker on the back in Lanham this morning. Last four digits of the plate were 7320. I was the DSM MCS with the 26.2 sticker on the back.

 

Saw an Blue (I forget the exact color) MCS in McLean, VA at the light before the exit onto 267 West. Got a wave before he took off like a rocket towards Old Dominion(?) Rd.

Didn't sound one bit stock though.

Last night we spotted an IB/B at Borders in Columbia...license plate MRFALCN
Didnt meet the owner, but had a great conversation with a Jag owner and two other gentlemen about MINIs etc in the parking lot.

 

I do believe that was me, i.e. I waved to a red MCS on 123 Chainbridge (inbound) at near the 267 West exit on Tuesday evening around 6PM or so.

Yes I was "on it" off the light ... enjoying my just replaced Super Charger and 15% pullied IB/W MCS. The sound is a Alta Intake and the 15% Pulley, they do play a sweet tune.

 

Well, I was in a SR & Silver MC....but that definitely is the right time.

 

I've parked near VA license plate "GP WORKS" a couple times this week. Sweet ride - inside and out!

was goin in to work this morning. right around 8am this morning at the intersection of broken land and stevens forest goin in the opposite direction, i saw a HB/S Checkmate?! i was very tempted to turn around and catchup, but i had to get to work.

 

Wasn't me, I was there around 9ish am and my color is RG/RG.

 

Saw an 05-06 Silver/B MCS with a MoS badge and a VT license plate frame on 370 and took the 270 S exit. The driver was a blonde woman and had a passenger. I was in my blue element behind you. Your MCS was very clean.

 

And the WAVE lives in VA!
Crossed paths with a White over Chilli Red along Rt 123 near Tyson's Corner around 3:00 this afternoon. It was easy for me to wave from my '05 BRG MCS Convertible (Of course the top was down). I was delighted to see her return the wave. First wave I've had returned in the two months I've had my little go-kart.

Yesterday around 4:25pm on 495-South passed what looked like an AstroBlack/Silver (maybe HB/s) checkmate with a beautiful redhead driver License plate DLV. Don't know if you saw me pass you but was trying to get to a doctor's appointment and couldnt stick around.

 

Around 2pm today. Spot R56 MCS Dark silver w/ Black JCW rims @ Hagerstown Outlet mall.

Good looking car indeed.

 

Yesterday, Memorial Day Monday, I was in Annpolis, walking over the Eastport Bridge, and saw an R56 MINI in Sparkling Silver and Black (can't remember if it was an S) It looked great, reminding me how nice my car looks. (I had the Z3 coupe out for the day)

 

Yesterday about 500pm, got a wave from a CR/W at Reston Parkway and Sun Rise Valley Drive. A few days ago I got a wave from someone in an SUV. His other car must be a MINI
Last weekend I was on the Eastern Shore. Got a wave from every MINI I saw They sure are friendly over there

 

2 BRG MINIs in the Twinbrook Metro lot on 5/30 in the AM. Maybe we can arrange a MINI parking area. You were separated by about 10 spaces, with no one in between you.

 

My wife says she had a conversation with a mini convertable while driving west on the dulles toll road yesterday!? Don't remember the color.
