I just remembered that I got a wave from a CR Cooper on 14th St NW, DC last week. Don't remember the license plate or much else.

 

Coming back from lunch there was a Blue (not electric or cool) in the parking lot of Chevys in Greenway Center with the plates "Resist"

 

Floating around Howard County General Hospital, don't see too many MINIs. Maybe I will have to drive by Sally and Pauls and spot a couple!
Parked next to a BRG/W Cooper the other day, never did see who it was..no love

Lets just say I had a very good reason for missing the run on Sunday

 

crossed paths with a laser blue R56 about 7:00 AM today on Twinbrook Parkway. Driver not only didn't return wave, but glared back. So, if it's you -- who cares. Take an enema or something.

 

That happens to me with quite a few MINIs that I see on a regular basis when driving to and from work.

On a side note, I gave a thumbs up to the driver of a Red Ferrari F430(I think) convertible on my way in to work yesterday morning....surprisingly I got a wave back

 

I get more waves from other Makes I wave at then I do MINIs. I wave at anything that catches my eye, Porches, Lotus (seen 2), Cute Girls (wait, thats not a Make, thats a Model ).

 

There's a good couple that I see occasionally. There's one with the plate CAFN8ED or something similar (forgot the color offhand already), a pretty heavily mod'ed DS being driven by a gentleman who says that he's not into the whole club thing, but was a cool guy, the BRG one mentioned above I think I parked next to before, and of course, Maxicooper's ride is around here!

Pizzio's (I think). Small shopping center, Rockville Pike near Gude Dr. In the back. Came out from dinner with my wife around 8:00pm, June 9. There were for MINIs in the back lot. A CR cooper, a cabrio and 2 others I don't recall the spec on. Was it a club outing? Chance?

 

I saw over 270 MINIs today, SG, HO, BRG, EB, LB, PW, CB, AB, LY, MY, HB, IB, SB, CR, probably many others I just cant think of right now! Were any of them you?

 

I think I saw those too! I also saw a bunch of Minis today!

 

I looked out my window this morning and thought someone in my neighborhood bought a new MINI...No wait, that's MINE!!!

For some actually I saw yous...on the way home I saw two HO's motoring together, my cousin was piloting at the time when we passed you. Was that you Penelope? And a rest stop off of 64 we saw a BRG and a Black with two owners standing next to them, was that Paul and Sally?

 

This is the first time I've been "seen"! Yippee!

Yep - that was Shaun and me driving from Virginia Beach to Laurel, mini MINI convoy-style. Poor oaf had to wake up early and head aaaaalllllllllllllll the way out to West Virginia this morning. Gotta give it up for his MINI dedication.

Great weekend, great event, great motoring! We're definately going again next year!

Spotted at Stonewall Golf Club in Manassas: A first-generation MINI with complete vinyl wrap Burger King advertising covering the whole body. And the Virginia vanity plate "WHOPR JR".

Anyone know the story on this car?
