Classic's everywhere!
Fun commute to work this morning, on the way across the 14th St bridge, spotted a Red MC?, didn't catch up though, but then at light at Reagan Bldg. Was waiting next to late '60's Red/White Austin Cooper S!!!!! He squealed tires on the green light - show off
Had original English tag, 4 lights across front, looked like he'd just gotten back from the Rally.
Also, found a nice classic, '74 model is my guess. Tempting purchase! Pics in my gallery.

Red MC at the movies by Kohls and Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Regal or whatever its called now. For Sale signs in the rear windows. License Plate: MTY MINI. I believe I've seen these plates somewhere else but not sure.
Update
I got more info on the classic for sale that I mentioned. It's a 1979 Rover built from New Zealand. 23,500 original miles. Very nice shape. It'd be fun to have but the money tree isn't in bloom yet.

FINALLY... after many months of seeing this DS/B MCS parked across the street from my work (only occassionally), I managed to tag it. I've tried before but by the time I get out there in the late morning, it's already gone. Here's the thing though... no DCMM sticker, no NAM sticker... BUT a number of Dragon stickers.
License plate is "MOTR 4FN" in VA, and something tells me (bad memory) that this person IS on NAM & in DCMM, but hey - why aren't they "representing" then? It was parked on Williams Drive off Rt. 50 in Fairfax, VA (right next to Merrifield).
Anyway, it also had "Rules the Bends, Bends the Rules" on the back, and 15" 7-hole wheels (for winter tires?).

1) I tagged an existing DCMM/NAM member, bad memory for forgetting I've seen them before (either on NAM or in person) - but not completely my fault because they weren't sporting DCMM nor NAM stickers!
OR
2) I managed to tag a new MINIAC - with that license plate and those stickers, they are definitely a good candidate!
It's always nice seeing a MINI with personalized plates
I see a ton in Richmond, but nothing to tag them with. I'd do the local club, but we don't really have events. And it'd be pretty silly to tag them with the DC stuff, right? :P

Hello I drive a Solar Red MC that I picked up on saturday morning.
Saw a LY MC pulled off of Skyline Drive near the 33 exit yesterday, something tells me, the car's caretakers are on here.
Saw about 11 MINIs on my way in to work this morning via Chain Bridge -> GW Parkway and Wisconsin Ave.
Waved at 2, smiled at the rest, no love
So if you see me honk!!

Monday 6:45 AM, Southbound Maryland Rte-29 between Routes 100 and 175.
You, Hot Orange MINI Cooper Convertable going fast in the fast lane.
Me, Chilli Red & White Cooper with Star Wars theme, middle lane next to you.
We waved and smilled at each other. I think you got off on Rte-32.

This morning on the way to work I have two sightings to report and BOTH were Chili Red/White MINI Coopers.
First. Southbound Maryland 29 between Routes 175 and 32. Female driver, male passenger. Jersey tags and a yellow ribbon on the boot.
Second. Maryland Route 28 and Gude Drive. You west bound into Rockville on 28. I turned onto Gude, honked and waved.
Hiya Short Bus,
Yeah, I guess I am pretty hard to miss!

I pulled into Bank of America at
about 12:15 today (11th) and just at the same time 2 blue Mini coops pulled into the parking lot at the same time. I was wondering if I missed the memo on the mini convention at the bank.

Put a DCMM card AND a good "Motoring Citation" on an 05/06 CR/W MC at the Citibank in Tyson's Corner this afternoon. I saw the young lady driving into the parking space just as I was arriving. I think she works there... it was the first time I've used one of the citations, lots of fun!
Inside the Suitland Federal Center, I've seen nearly every day for the past few weeks an absolutely gorgeous '06 JCW upgraded MCS Astro Black w/ Silver top and mirror covers. I tagged you a while ago. Just seeing if you ever checked in!

Black MCSC at Crisswell Lotus
I saw a nice Black MCSC at Criswell Lotus today. It had black Team Dynamics rims and red H&R springs with a PROMINI sticker on the windscreen. Nice looking car! I was in the DS/DS MCS. I had a great test drive in one of the Lotus Elise's. Took it on the freeway and out on a twisty country road for almost a half hour. What an awesome car. They are dealing on the remaining '05's too. Its awefully tempting.
