LMAO ... this is the second time I've seen a Yellow Cab MC driving through Houston.

Yesterday, 1530ish, I-45 South.

I'll post a pic if I get one.

I was following a beautiful and spotless Dark Silver MINI early this morning just east of Tomball, TX. Judging from the appearance of the exhaust, it was a JCW without the badges.

lets see, i saw two MINI's last night. One was RB/W with white bonnet stripes and a euro tag on the front. I waved to her as we walked across the street to get to Camden Yards. The other was LY/LY parked on the lot at Camden Yards.

AHG! I can't find a waving smiley on here........ that kinda ruins my planned reply...

If I see OLDSOL, I'll most definitely wave!

THANK YOU! This Mini-Girl is starting to feel unloved. I wave all the time but I get snubbed by the other Minis and my friends think I am crazy.

Congratulations on the new plate! I don't quite understand it though... care to interpret? You're not old...

Now, if you want to get some MINI-loving, you have to start coming to DCMM events, with other people that "get it" too. Perhaps we'll all drive around you in circles and wave to you!

I waved at a EB/W MCS the other morning on 95S before the Burtonsville exit...but she had the steering wheel in one hand and coffee in the other. hmph. I think I've seen her before.

I have seen tons of MINIs in Baltimore when I worked last weekend and the weekend before. In Little Italy, there were two parked right across the street from one another. Both MC the one on the left was CR/W and bonnet strips, the one on the right I think was silver (can't remember now), it was neat going past them over and over again (that's another story though). Then on the very next street there was black MC from DC.

It's difficult waving as other MINIs when your are not in a MINI. Esp when other MINI drivers don't wave to you WHEN YOU ARE ACTUALLY IN YOUR MINI! Oh well, some get the waving thing evenutally.

I can't wait to get my personalized plates, but I have to take time off of work to go and order them...just haven't had the chance. So much easier to remember than the state issued plates!

Congrats!

You are correct, unlike you I am not old. However Old Soul means that you have characteristics and insight beyond your physical age. Don't worry, no one will say you have Old Soul.

HAH! Funny, I didn't realize that there's a 1 year difference between "old" and "not old". Fascinating.

Not to mention it's quite possible to have "young soul" too... and that's not a bad thing either.

Last time I checked, I couldn't and not only that, but I have to go to specific MVA offices. You can't just go to the satelite stations. And you have to go Monday through Friday only too. Yep, it's a pain.:impatient

Good point, you don't look 10 years old. I think they call that being "immature".

LOL, touche... but it's good to know that I can call you old next year... what comes after that? Crabby and grouchy?

Yep, sometimes I'd love to be a kid again - things were so much simpler... it's like Sam (samiam01)'s signature says:

Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional.

You don't have to go to any MVA. You can just mail it in. The problem is you have to wait and wait and wait and the MVA won't tell you nothing.

MD is very behind the times!

Aww, crap!! I didn't think of that when (if?) I move up to MD, I'll have to get MD plates, won't I?! I'm pretty sure that my personal plates will be allowed to be transferred to MD...

AHH WTF indeed!

That's horrible. I probably wouldn't even go through the trouble then... When I got mine, it was pretty much a (drunken) impulse buy on the internet.
