Last night was a bit of a spotting frenzy. Sagworks and I were in Tenlytown and carded a PS/B on a side street off Wisconsin Ave. Also spotted about a dozen MINIs on that same journey (wow!) I don't recall them all, but some of them were... a PS on Calvert, an IB/B on Irving, a PW on Connecticut, a CR and an AB or JB parked next to each other on Porter...
Later that same night, we stopped at a diner in College Park, MD and when we came out a CR with white bonnet stripes and NY plates had parked next to us (love it when that happens - the whole parking lot was empty so you know the only reason they parked next to us was because it was another MINI).

Ran into a 2004 EB MCS with white bonnet stripes in the Dunkin Donuts parking lot at Bowie Town Center... Actually met the driver as well, I believe he goes by Brian methinks... He talked about wanting to put some stuff under the hood now, and how Towson was going to charge $1200 for a pulley and intake, so I gave him my LDG card and let him know that John installs the pulleys for about $250.
He seemed happy with that knowledge. Hopefully he'll remember to check out NAM.
Also spotted a hard top Silver Mini parked outside Michaels today as I was running errands. Maybe it was MDS Brain's, but I didn't see any decals on it, nor was I close enough to tell if it was an S or not.

saw a PW/B MC on 95N between 175 and 100 yesterday at around 3:30pm in traffic. I noticed the license plate was almost the exact same as mine except for the last two digits, which meant she got hers not too long before i got mine. and since the license plate was so close, of course there was a MoT license plate frame around the plate. Kinda cool. Pulled up next to her and honked the horn and waved. She happily waved back.
stopped at a red light waiting to go on to 29 north this morning when i saw a black w/ checked roof (couldn't tell what kind of black or even if it was a cooper or cooper s) headed down 29 south this morning, passing by briggs chaney road at about 6:45 am... was that you, sagworks?
Tonight, Sibley Memorial Hospital parking lot, BRG/W, and SB/W parked right next to me! the BRG was Va plates, and the SB was Mass plates. Kind of crazy that we all parked next to each other. But alas, the other two were 'just a MINI' But made my drive in tonight to park next to them!
Mark (mdsbrain) and I were having lunch yesterday downtown. We spotted a MINI at the light, as he approached I realized it was 'JustDandy'. We didn't have a chance to get your attention and wave or anything, but that was cool!!
This game is too hard to play in Alexandria. So many minis.
But there's a BRG/W MCS with a "half minute" VA plate I've seen on one of the Russell Rd. side streets lately. That's of course, in addition to other minis residing on Russell Road for the past couple of years.

Ok, so i'm on a track day at Summit Point on Jefferson with my bike yesterday. I'm pitting in, and I see a SB/S MCS. I knew i had to find the owner somewhere. I figured I would find them around lunch time. But the MINI was gone before that. But later that day when I was pitting in again, I saw it again. So after my last session, I walked over there and found the owner. I was talking to her. Her name is Shanthi, and when I asked I think she said was a member of DCMM. But she had never been to any of the events. So I gave her some information about NAM, and how we use this as main source of communication. I told her about all of the great upcoming events we have coming up. She was very excited. We must have been talking for at least a half an hour. So I think we should be seeing an extra MCS at some of our meets. I told her that i better see her there and here on the boards.
and if they check anything on it, they'll know I just got it.)
IB/IB MCS gettin off of shaker drive onto 32W this afternoon at around 5pm. I followed him on the onramp which of course we were taking at MINI speeds. He gave me the thumbs up as I caught up with him in the exit ramp, and then i passed him on 32. Plenty of waves and thumbs up between the two of us. That was kinda fun actually.
i saw 2 today, both in towson, near kenilworth, not including the 50+ i saw at the dealership
. both were DS, one had a black top. 1st one was at Charles St. and York Rd., you didnt wave back, probably missed me, but you had a nice design on your boot window
. 2nd one was at the light at Putty Hill Ave. and Perring Parkway, we exchanged quite a great! wave.

IB with White Roof & Bonnet Stripes, checkered mirrors. You were, I believe, driving an '04 MCS. It was around 7:15 this AM at the intersection of MD Routes 26 (Liberty Road) and 27 (Ridge Road). You spotted me late, but still managed a wave.

wish i could do that.
