No, you said THIS:

If you're not upset then you have a funny way of showing it. I believe you even used this symbol ( ) in your first response to my very polite post. Yes, I saw what you were trying to do... and nobody takes issue with you wanting to catch up. We just were uncomfortable with the way you chose to do it. And yes, I'm saying they/we... but I'm not hiding. I have no reason to hide.

Well I'm glad you know - but you didn't seem to realize what all the fuss was about before, and you are being extremely defensive about it now. I have been nothing but polite and professional to you Florence, yet you are brushing me aside.

I didn't post this as my position of "moderator", I'm not on a power trip. I posted as a very active and enthusastic member of DCMM myself, wanting to encourage the use of multi-quoting, so that more people would take an active interest in what you are saying instead of brushing over your myriad of back-to-back posts.

There's nothing new for me to "get", Florence. Your rudeness is something that I am taking issue with, however. My post was public, yes... but the problem here is that you are seeing it as a reprimand, which it quite clearly was not. I was complimenting you on your enthusiasm, and making a polite request for a minor adjustment to the way you choose to post. This adjustment would benefit everyone reading the thread, including yourself, since you would be more likely to get responses. Should this post have been private? Perhaps, but you have been very rude to me in public (which I wasn't), so that's why you're getting a public response now.

Florence, for just a moment, can you please ignore the "Moderator" title above and pay more attention to the "DCMM Coordinator" title. I am both, but they entail wearing very different hats. I have to wonder that if my title was just the regular "6th Gear" instead of "Moderator", if you would have responded differently.

I believe crux of the problem here is that you feel you were reprimanded, which you most certainly were not.

Apparently not. Tonight you just made 7 posts in a row again, in this thread, within about 30 minutes. Perhaps you don't care, and that's your perogative... but you are only reducing your audience... hence Mark's (mdsbrain) tongue-in-cheek comment.

that's just too many quotes in one post
i just skipped over it all and went to the bottom. I usually just type everything in one paragragh. no need to quote, unless you really need to reflect who you are responding to.

I was responding to each of her comments, one by one. I also typed far more than I quoted, so it was a high type-to-quote ratio. Typing in one paragraph would not have given me the opportunity to give proper context to what I was saying... so I did really need to reflect what Florence was saying.

One long post is a lot easier to read than 10 separate posts in a row from one person, don't you think?

joker, I wasn't picking on you, nor am I picking on Florence. I'm not a bully. There's nothing wrong with being different here... but being respectful is required. It's how we maintain a friendly community.

Managed to tag 2 MINIs at the Hummel Airfield, VA's Wings and Wheels yesterday. I saw a third, but couldn't find it in the parking lot. The one White/White only had 341 miles on it and the owner said he couldn't wait until the break-in period was over so he could do some rev's. I remember those days. I told him to be sure he went past the 1200 miles before next May and to join all the other MINI/Miniacs on the Dragon.

Also while driving East bound on Rt. 50 in the Easton area I saw a PS/B with bonnet stripes and a BRG a few miles back. I could of swore I saw a NAM sticker on the driver side side window of the PS/B MINI.

Saw a red convertible with a solid black bonnet stripe down the center this weekend... Also saw a couple Mini owners motoring around 'naptown' NOT in a Mini. BAD OWNERS, U KNO WHO U R!

Motored a bit alongside an 06 light silver S on my way home on 395N yesterday about 4:30pm.

Sitting at my desk looking out the window I see a Velvet Red/White top Cooper sitting in the circle of the Democrocy Buildings (Bethesda).

I would love to run out and tag it but I don't have anymore cards
